When running an Executive summary report the section Hardware Firewall shows 1/5 devices monitored. Because this section looks at all Switch's/Routers as possible Firewalls they get pulled in even thou the 4 devices are not firewalls. The software inventory report contains thousands of records when you consider all the users and workstations in a network. Being able to sort or filter out, by date, just the applications that were installed in the past x days, would be helpful in identifying what has actually been added to the network.
Right now it's possible to filter a report by customer, but not by site.
The only way around this would be to filter by a rule and then we would need to create a rule and a filter for that specific site's devices
But why not being able to see in a report for a customer the respective sites where a device is included in?
Or why not being able to filter by site?

Specifically within the anti-virus section, I would like a parameter which let's me define the device class(es) to include. The problem I run into with this report is that I want to display results of Workstation / Laptop devices separately from Servers. Currently when trying to generate a report on a specific site within a customer it can only generate the report for all sites under the customer. The ability to filter for sites the same way an SO can be filtered for Customers would provide the flexibility required to generate relevant reports that are not flooded with unnecessary data.
We bill most of our customers on a per-machine basis, but we have a handful (mostly RDS / Terminal Server environments) that we bill by the user. N-Central has access to the information via the Domain User Management section, but I don't believe it is available via reports anywhere. It would be good Report Manager was able to connect to multiple ncentral servers instead of being dedicated to one ncentral server.
it would be good to be able to generate a report for all the alerts that gets raised on a daily basis. at the moment we can do that per customers level but i am unable to generate one for all customers. the reports are generated will assist in providing accuracy on the number of alerts handled across all managed customers. at the moment we do that manually by combining the output in Excel.
We issue reports to the clients on Patch status and we are getting a lot of patches in reports that have been superseded and the client is asking why there was no record of that patch being installed, on a monthly basis. It would be nice to show in the report that the patches have been superseded.
This would be for all patch reports in N-Central and Report Manager.
Under the Executive Summary Report >> Asset Management / Server and Network Warranty in Report Manager it puts the MAC workstations under Server Network instead of endpoints or workstation warranty

it would be extremely handy to be able to, at the very least, export the selected customers from the rules grant customer/site access tab, at the very most, have a report that will show me the associations between customers and rules, allowing me to pick which customers, or which rules I want to run the report against. An option to automatically delete scheduled reports in Report Manager after a customer is deleted. This could be optional, and/or could wait for more than one maintenance cycle to ensure the deletion wasn't accidental, but would help keep the Scheduled Reports section more tidy.
