Right now when you create a admin in Mail Assure you can transfer domains to that admin. However, if you transfer a domain to an admin you are unable to transfer that domain to another admin to manage as well as it will switch the admin who was last assigned the domain. I want to see the ability to allow more then 1 admin the ability to manage the same domain. This will allow me to create more then 1 admin but allow ...more »
Hi Hans, So we've had a look at this a bit further and I have collaborated with my application engineer and he has stated that you are unable to login with domain aliases, you can only log in with the primary domain. I can only apologise for any confusion throughout the case. The above I received in answer to my question, initially it was said that this should be possible without problems now I just have to submit an ...more »
Updated request text by moderator:
We've received requests to generate the "protection report" multiple times per user day. In addition, requests have been received to only list a category referred to as "suspect spam", rather than all quarantined messages.
The current Microsoft Outlook add-on offered from SpamExperts is not working. Says it is not a valid add-on. Can you please update this add-on and provide further support.
Currently it is not possible to create rules for global or default filtering in Mail Assure, only on domain level.
This means that if an MSP would like to add a search criteria to a blacklist or whitelist, they have to do it for each domain, which will be time consuming for MSPs with tens or hundreds of customers in Mail Assure.
We are getting many outbound quarantined emails that should not be.
Support is telling us that outbound spam rules are dictated by the inbound filter settings.
Outbound spam filters should be a different set of settings so we do not compromise inbound filter rules.
Please allow an option for outbound settings
In the MSP Mail platform, users were allowed to specify enforcing TLS, enforcing TLS if possible, and not requiring it. These options are not available within the Mail Assure Platform. It would be nice to see these options within the Mail Assure platform and grant control over how certain domains process emails and handle TLS directly. Opportunistic on all the time is nice, but in certain scenario's, namely where a ...more »
As the Mail Assure delivery IP addresses frequently change, it can be hard to manage a large number of firewall/O365 deployments to restrict email from the Mail Assure IP space. The header-based alternative described in the KB (https://kb.spamexperts.com/36683-delivery-restriction-examples/286647-office-365) can be spoofed, and hence is not 100% secure. A better alternative should be provided which cannot be spoofed and ...more »
Mail Assure needs a proper and easy to use alias management capable of handling a lot of users and aliases. Searching for all aliases of a specific main email address, searching for the main email address of an alias, easy editing of the alias for a main email address and so on.
I'm in the Mail Assure control panel very often checking on customer quarantines, releasing messages, deleting ones I don't want them to release by mistake, etc. I use the Log Search (Preview) section of Mail Assure almost daily and do the same types of search queries each time. We really need the ability to choose our query options, column options, and then have a choice to save them, with a custom name, so I don't ...more »
At the moment, any email filtered as phishing is rejected, and no notification is sent to the recipient. One of our clients did not receive important emails from a customer because they were incorrectly flagged as phishing and rejected out of hand, with no warning to the client. Please add an option to quarantine phishing emails (instead of outright rejecting) so the recipient can be notified in their digest. At the ...more »
The current session timeout is too short for some customers and usage. Please add the possiblity to increase (or lower) the session timeout.
