Backup to Local Only - no cloud storage

I have used another cloud backup software that allows you to backup ONLY to local storage or network storage without backing up to the cloud at all. Since there is no cloud storage they simply charge a software license monthly fee of $5 to use their software.

 

I have several customers that love this and I need GFI MAX Backup to support this before moving all our customers over. PLEASE ADD! :)

NAS integration

Hi I would be happy to se a backup agent for NAS (Synology, QNAP etc). It should be easy to make. https://www.synology.com/en-us/support/developer http://www.qnap.com/dev/en/p_about.php These small boxes are great for smal offices that do not really need a real server, but they still need backup. Most of the NAS' are starting to support Dropbox, Azure , S3 etc, but why not MAX Backup? :-) (I know price might be an ...more »

Do not report success unless BOTH online and speedvault succeed

The monitoring for MSP Backup will report a backup as completed successfully if either the online backup or the local speed vault have succeeded. The problem with this is that if one or the other fails we do not get a notification of it. We had an issue with a site where the local speed vault was failing for a couple of weeks, but we did not know because nothing reported it to us. This could have been very embarrassing ...more »

Easy Remote and/or Mass Deployment / Silent Installer

Please simply allow for a silent / unattended msi installer like many other backup software vendors have now. This would be an elegant solution that could then be used by either GPO or other RMM software deployment methods (Max, PDQ, etc.) for either domain or non-domain computers for easy remote deployment (single or mass).
