The Agent should checking when the service starts

The Agent should checking whenever the service starts. This would ensure that we know as soon as systems are back online, rather than having to wait for the next scheduled checkin period.

At the moment when rebooting a workstation it stays 'offline' in the dashboard for a long time rather than instantly reporting they are online.

Global modification of 24x7 & DSC check-in interval required

currently if i want to change the 24x7 frequency check interval or DSC run time for multiple devices, i have click on each individual workstation or server and make the modification manually. this is ideal for working on on few devices at a time, but currently i have a need to change over 190 workstations 24x7 frequency intervals, but find the manual method will take too long. there should be a global or group option ...more »

rescan for available checks

Hi,

when you are deploying the Agent manually it will show you all the available checks it can handle with the installed software ( Windows Services, Backup, AV)

I Would like to have something like a "rescan" Button from the Dashboard which would scan again after some time what checks would be available per default.

So newly installed software etc. would been detected

Rename Advanced Monitoring Agent GP for MSP

Since we paid a good deal of money for branding, it would be really nice if the application can be installed using our brand instead of "Advanced Monitoring Agent GP" Many other RMM products allow for this -- either generating a custom MSI from the control panel using our company name or some field for input... or using an install switch with the Group Policy Deployment. It's getting very frustrating having to re-install ...more »

Update MAX RMM Agent for Linux

The Linux versions supported by MAX RMM Linux agents are woefully out of date as can be seen in the roughly formatted table below. Build agent and then send link to download/install

In my opinion you should be able to create a client, a site, then setup checks for a client server/workstation, including admin credentials then build this into a .exe file and create a link to download directly.

This will enable me to entrust customers/engineers with a link and allow a silent install and all I have to do is wait for it to appear on the dashboard and then I could use take control ect.

Time Machine monitoring in Mac OS X agent

Reporting the status of Apple's built-in Time Machine backup would be a top feature for me.

Apple displays the status of the service on the Menu Bar so it may be possible to get this with a script, but I would be great to have this monitoring standard.

Given the average Mac user view of viruses, backups and patches will be a bigger driver of monitoring.

Re-use Workstation Name

Often it happens that a workstations crashes. After re-installing OS and Remote Management Agent, the pc is still not monitored.

The procedure for know is to delete the workstation name in the dashboard and after that re-install the agent.

It would be a nice feature if it re-uses the old (before crash) workstation name automatically

The local agent login exposes usernames

On newer agents (9.8.5 in particular), when you run it locally, it has the username filled in already. I used the Remote Worker site installation package on a system, then ran the Agent locally and it showed the email/login for our main Agent Key username. I logged in with my credentials, then the next time I ran the Agent it had my email/login stored.

The username box should be blank by default.
