When a customer ever stops using our monitor or MSP services, we need to uninstall the agent from their PCs. 1. This is a good practice for keeping things clean. 2. We don't want competitors who may follow us to find out what technology we're using. They need to build their own businesses themselves. It would be very helpful in these situations, if the agents would auto-uninstall themselves after we have deleted a client, ...more »
Currently, we can give a client a gobal dashboard access user account for all of their sites, which is important. However, in a more distributed environment, it would be helpful to give other site admins credentials for a particular site or sites. Since user credentials must be unique, I can already see a problem if a particular admin has responsibility for more than one site. So, if the suggestion makes sense to implement, ...more »
In my opinion, the dashboard is hardly branded. If I send clients to my FQDN, which is a CNAME pointing to the dashboard.systemmonitor.us, they have to use unencrypted http, or their browser will throw a certificate error. In either case, this is a bad practice for security. The alternative is to send them to https://dashboard.systemmonitor.us. This is resolves both of the above security issues, but now the URL is no ...more »
currently if i want to change the 24x7 frequency check interval or DSC run time for multiple devices, i have click on each individual workstation or server and make the modification manually. this is ideal for working on on few devices at a time, but currently i have a need to change over 190 workstations 24x7 frequency intervals, but find the manual method will take too long. there should be a global or group option ...more »
It would be nice, if the "Show column" settings in the dashboard's "View" menu, e.g. "Email Alert" or "Take Control", would be saved. Currently you have to activate these columns again at every login.
Currently, it is possible to edit a department and "enable dept view-only dashboard access" which is great when clients request remote access to their office computers from home using GFI Max. However, you can only setup one login, which defeats the purpose of auditing if the client has multiple folks remoting in with one login/password. One of the main reasons I use logmein more than GFI Max is the ability for my clients ...more »
Currently the only way to change a user's password for the Dashboard is for a superuser to change it, thus meaning that the superuser has to know the user's password. It would be good if we could give users access to change their own password without giving them access to change other user account properties.
I've been avoiding looking at a network profile of the RMM Dashboard, but stumbled on it tonight, and laughed to see why: Loading takes over _200_ separate HTTP requests, and _20MB_ of content download. I'm attaching screencast GIFs of this in both Chrome and Firefox Quantum (the new fastest browser). It stops when the page finishes rendering. No wonder first load is nearly 90 seconds. But it doesn't have to be this ...more »
in addition to the daily safety check, it would be nice to see the complete backup results of a job, even if the job completed successfully, rather than just see complete.
likewise if the job had failed or is incomplete, it would be nice to see the results of the job, such as why the job failed or is incomplete, such as no media available, or specific users files are open
In Addition to the, very useful, Patch Pending Column it would be great to have an additional column for Patches Missing. That would mean that you could quickly get an overview of which systems/sites need work straight from the dashboard. Ideally some thing like:- Green Tick - No patches missing Orange Cross - up to 5 Critical Patches Missing Red Cross - More than 5 Critical Patches Missing Blue Dot - Non Critical Patches ...more »
It would be great to have the ability to Right Click on an Entire Site & have Some Options?
Ability to rerun DSC daily safety checks on entire site if needed.
Add a Note for The Entire Site.
Edit the Site.
Maybe some Reports for the Site?
Maybe take control of a device you deemed most important at the site?
Display the total of servers/ws per client so the reseller can easily get an overview, as well in the Dashboard as in a report.
