Alert When GFI Cloud IS removed from a computer , notify Admin when the cloud service is removed or viper is removed
More flexibility with the cloud notification emails would be useful.
For example, the option to turn off email notifications when anti virus quarantines items, but maintain notifications for the Monitoring alerts.
I would really like to see the ability to have multiple SMS numbers specified for the alerts like you can for the Email alerts. We have a number of people that look after the systems and for redundancy we require multiple people to be alerted when a situation occurs on our mission critical systems. I could always pay for an SMS service and then get GFI to email the alert to that service but why should I pay for another ...more »
The email alerts from GFI Cloud (AntiVirus in particular) contain no details, just the name of the affected endpoint and a link to the console. The emails must include: The details of threat which has been detected and quarantined; A link to the available security research about that threat (e.g. CVE, CERT); A link to that specific threat on that affected endpoint. The current link goes to the front page of the endpoint, ...more »
It's unacceptable today that a software distribution lack a digital signature, and all the more for a security product.
The GFI Cloud installer "agent.exe" file has no digital signature.
It must be signed by GFI.
The Cloud application should have the ability to automatically upload logs to the cloud application for sharing for support. This option could be done automatically when an event occurs (i.e., a patch fails), or when initiated by an administrator (i.e., click the button to reprocess patches, set debug logs, and upload to the cloud). The decision to share logs with support could likewise be automatic or initiated by ...more »
Love the Web Protection feature - however without reporting it is only about 50% useful.
Reports are needed on a per user basis that would show, at a minimum, (a) all activity and (b) sites that were blocked. Time spent on a site as well as overall time browsing would be useful as well.
Not sure how you can release something without the ability to generate reports.
To be able to list all software on the network & see what computers has it installed.
And if possible to be able to uninstall unwanted software.
Since we already have an "agent" on the target PC it would be great to be able to do simple remote control for support issues including troubleshooting GFICloud installation, competitive AV removal when auto removal fails or local configuration issues. The less I have to visit the physical PC the more "cloud" it is.
It's pain to have to login multiple times a day when I go to the dashboard. There should be a remember me checkbox or at least a longer time-out.
At the moment we can monitor Critical Alerts from the Event Log.
It would be great if we could add Warning Alerts from the Event Log as well since many of those warnings give us advanced notification of an issue before they turn into Critical Alerts.
Managing computers/clients would be MUCH easier with organization with DOZENS of workstations if they could be "Grouped" together. I.E. "Third Floor" or "Sales Notebooks", etc...
Instead of one (very long) list of "all computers".
Similar to the multiple accounts with one login, I see a need to have ability for multiple logins for ONE account. I am one company, with TWO IT personnel. They have to use the same login. Why not allow us two allow two user accounts. And secondly, maybe the ability to limit one to only assigning licenses and seeing status, but not making policy changes.
From what I was told reporting is not a feature in the works for Vipre Online. I'm not sure why it wouldn't be on the timeline especially because it would be nice for a customer to get notifications that all machines are up-to-date or not, and basically any report you can pull with the on-premise. If GFI is really wanting to people to move to a "cloud" solution, they need have almost the same feature set rather than ...more »
