I would really like to see a way to send the agent to a customer so that they can install it but they have to enter a unique key to install and once they install they see a progress bar to show something is being done. Would be good to be able to sort the event screen via computer name
When selecting the Actions Menu, the first two buttons that sit side by side are Remote Reboot and Connect.
Drastically different results for two buttons laid directly next to each other.
May only be a small issue, however as we currently can't cancel a Reboot once selected, it would work better if remote connection and reboot are separated on this screen.
I'll be deploying Veeam in support of a virtualised environment soon and therefore will lose the backup reporting I get now of the 4 physical servers I operate.
It would be great to not have to check any other dashboard for success/failure of backups!
Per case GFI-140805-274368 I have been advised BackupAssist v7 is supported, but v8 is not.
As I'm going to be a new user of BackupAssist I would like to use BA 8 and monitor it with GFI Cloud.
would like to see the computer description listed next to computer name.
I see that the ability to disable antivirus for individual computers from the console was removed. I used that for troubleshooting. I think it should be put back for this reason.
Auto reboot is enabled in the policy. If the user is absent for 30 minutes and the scheduled install with reboot is during this time, the 2 minutes reboot warning is too short. It is a forced reboot. Applications with unsaved documents are forced to quit and the work is lost. Please make this timer configurable. Please provide the option to choose between forced reboot and normal reboot (interuptable by applications) ...more »
I currently use EndpointSecurity to control access to devices. I would like to see the features of EndpointSecurity integrated into Cloud. I am trying to get rid of as many locally hosted services as possible.
The default view in the Patch Management module should be Missing patches instead of Installed and missing patches. Most would agree that when they go in patch management they are looking for missing patches so the first screen should show only missing.
Securing the administrator login with two factor authentication would be great. This can either be a simple verification code sent to the email address when logging in on a new PC or using something like Google Authenticator.
Alliteratively implementing google single sign-on would mean two factor authentication can be enabled at ‘source’
Please provide a time stamp in addition to the time offset for the last check-in for systems. The status view does not automatically refresh, so if the window has been open for a while, it is not clear at what time the last check-in was actually made.
