We have 900 filters. It would be nice to have a search box where I could type in a word and it would show only filters containing those characters. Similar to how you can type in a device name under all devices and it will display the results. We have the drop down that lets you select "All Visible Filters" and such, but it would be far more useful to have search capabilities. Even the "Filter" button that is shown ...more »
Its possible to filter by ESXI devices, however its not possible to filter by the version.
In N-central appears the OS Version has (for example) "VMware ESXi 5.0.0 build-914586" but since VMware/ESXi is an hypervisor, when a OS filter is created there isn't a option to filter by version.
It would be extremely helpful to include Enterprise Next-Gen antivirus packages checking (like SentinelOne, Cylance) into the AV Status script, or include another mechanism for "checking it" for status within N-Central
Hello, I am trying to create a filter to list the devices where a specific patch is not installed. I tried the following: Filter by Applicaiton -> Patch Installed (KB Number) -> Does Not Contain -> 4048958 (or KB4048958), but it did not work I was advised by Solarwinds technician (ticket 00906948) that such option does not exist. We also attempted to generate a report, but it did not work as well. Please, add such ...more »
Currently the object (Create AD User) does not include
First and Last
The office365 create user has all of this and it would be useful if the create ad user object had the same information in order to create AD accounts that are not synced to Office 365.
Right now there is no good or easy distinction between missing patches which are approved and failed installations of the approved patches. Besides that the monitoring has a constant failed patch status, due to limitations in the service templates and thresholds. Besides that. If we approved patches, the patch status changes directly to failed. This is because the approved patch are (still) missing. This is true but not ...more »
Installed Version (This Device) 10.0.14393.1670 Managed Version (MSP N-central) Unknown Latest Known Version (Windows Update) 10.0.15063.608 (KB4038788) Status: Normal If the update agent isn't up to date, this service should show failed. If it is up to date, this service should show normal. that is all. If either of these statements is untrue, have some documentation to back it up. There is no documentation ...more »
Users do not have the access to edit their own passwords or profiles if not given the User Management > Users = Manage permission.
I would like to see all users to have the right to edit their own user profiles while still set to User Management = None.
Possibility to automatically decline patches based on product or by string.
This would make it possible to automatically decline Microsoft's "Technical Preview" patch, Creators Updates or KB number.
In device view, show hoverover popup on failed status icon.
Now we need to go into device to view more. This is time consuming.
You already have this when more services are in the monitored items (like multiple harddrives or so)
@chris.reid - The AV Status script no longer seems to detect av defender on desktops, let alone servers. I get that monitoring should occur with the av defender services, but surely having the script tell you this would be a good thing? Then we can run the one script across all devices in order to tell what av is being used ...more »
In N-Central 11.1 the Feature to Show Service Metrics when hovering over a status icon was added. For Services with a huge number of Metrics the displayed list is cut off and not all services are shown. When those cutoff metrics result in a failing of the Service those are still not shown when hovering over the icon. This diminishes the usefulness of the hover-over feature. So Failed and Warning state Metrics should ...more »
