When attempting to monitor a standard networked HP Black and White Laserjet printer the Printer Page Count (HP) Service fails. The reason it fails is it is an SNMP based service and the printer does not have the "Colour Page Count" OID is because it is B&W only. The N-Central service relies on subtracting the Colour page count from the total page count to get the B&W page count. The total page count OID exists (.22.214.171.124.126.96.36.199.188.8.131.52.1). ...more »
Checkpoint is a huge player in the game and not having the ability the apply a service template to a checkpoint firewall is a major fail. Please rectify this.
Engenius switches are becoming more popular and it would be nice to have service templates for them as they fully support SNMP.
As an MSP who is using N-central, I'd like to have the ability to login to N-central with my Office 365/Azure AD account, so that I don't need to maintain a separate user account for N-central.
The ability to monitor the health and status of modern NETAPP storage solutions running in clustered mode. Ideally the following products would be useful FAS - Fabric Att (Running Clustered Data on Tap) This would help give insight into the health and status of the underlying storage supporting other servers currently being monitored and managed by n-central and could easily highlight a infrastructure issue. Any system ...more »
Since there is access to AddUser and User Roles, there should be a method similar to GetUsers (our employees), with the User’s name, Id, NCentralID and other similar and hopefully relatable data provided. See also related suggestion for “Add Primary Responsibly to Customers/Sites” Idea No. 3442.
Add support to N-central for native RDP support with Microsoft remote desktop application and drop the use of Cord that is no longer functional.
Allow remote printing when using RDP through N-Central.
Similar to the way it is done through normal RDP sessions.
We have several users who use RDP through N-Central and would like the ability to print to their local printers.
I am aware that MSP Connect has a remote printing option now however due to usability and clarity some of our users prefer RDP connections.
If I could get the thresholds that have been defined for a service, and it's limits, I would be able to create a process/form for our engineers to request threshold changes via Cherwell and ensure they are seeing the current values and are entering the correct expected values.
Currently there is no way to search for information like Serial Number or Asset Tag in the "All Devices" screen. Currently the only way to perform this kind of search is to start creating a filter and sort by "Hardware > System Serial Number > Contains". This is obviously not ideal and for the few techs that need to search by serial number it can be confusing after not doing it for so long. Would it be feasible to add ...more »
With the regular roll-out of new versions of Windows 10 via Upgrade coming out on a regular basis, the need to report on which devices have which version of the OS is an every growing need to successfully manage a proper patching environment. Is it possible to create such a report in N-central without needing to run a per-customer Detailed Asset report and manipulate thousands of fields in a CSV to remove unnecessary ...more »

This is a fundamental feature for monitoring a server and should be included in N Central; support have advised ...more »
I would like to have the ability to resize columns (and have selection remembered) in the All Devices view. The automatic sizing isn't always useful & I would like to resize columns to fully display the details of columns I'm interested in. While I can deselect columns, I often end up with partial details esp "logged in user"
Is it possible to add a name to a RDP session? If you have multiple RDP sessions now they all show as 127.0.0.1:randomport now... so you don't know which one is which customer.
I know other RMM (like Kaseya) use a way to add this, i think by saving it as a specific file name and start it from file, but not sure.
I want to be able to see what Rules, etc are dependent upon a given filter, template, etc.
ie, if I delete a filter, I see a prompt that I shouldn't do that if there are associated rules, but there's no way short of examining *every rule* to know what the associations are.
