If I could get the thresholds that have been defined for a service, and it's limits, I would be able to create a process/form for our engineers to request threshold changes via Cherwell and ensure they are seeing the current values and are entering the correct expected values.
Currently there is no way to search for information like Serial Number or Asset Tag in the "All Devices" screen. Currently the only way to perform this kind of search is to start creating a filter and sort by "Hardware > System Serial Number > Contains". This is obviously not ideal and for the few techs that need to search by serial number it can be confusing after not doing it for so long. Would it be feasible to add ...more »
With the regular roll-out of new versions of Windows 10 via Upgrade coming out on a regular basis, the need to report on which devices have which version of the OS is an every growing need to successfully manage a proper patching environment. Is it possible to create such a report in N-central without needing to run a per-customer Detailed Asset report and manipulate thousands of fields in a CSV to remove unnecessary ...more »
I have found (especially with Windows 10/Windows Server 2016 server devices), that the following patches will be downloaded into the Agent Patch Cache (C:\Program Files (x86)\N-able Technologies\Patch Management\archive\): - Patches that have been set to "Approved for Install" which are not yet installed, and are superseded by other another patch that is also in the list of "Approved for Install" and "Not Installed" list. ...more »
I would like to have the ability to resize columns (and have selection remembered) in the All Devices view. The automatic sizing isn't always useful & I would like to resize columns to fully display the details of columns I'm interested in. While I can deselect columns, I often end up with partial details esp "logged in user"
Can we please add a device/agent check-in date to the all devices view as an additional tab, to show when a device first checks into N-Central?
enough of this iterative process that we just aren't seeing any return on.
How many years after sites have been introduced do we have to wait for the preview to once again show the customer, along with the site?
There is no excuse.
This one has been an obvious problem for years, but I'll resubmit ot in the new system anyway. N-Central simply can't scale up with large amounts of schedueld tasks running in one job. This is because the outputs aren't in any ideal sorted order (and can't be changed), you can't filter on the columns to reduce the amount of tasks, or search against the task output content to find the task outputs you are looking for. ...more »
Is it possible to somehow search devices from N-Central with serial number.. Example when I try to use "all devices" search I get 0 results.
For Security Manager AV Defender's DEPLOYMENT DETAILS, please add an exception in Competitor AV Cleanup for the program IBM Trusteer, so that we can keep the “Standard Removal and Registry/File Cleanup setting without having to adjust this for each install/upgrade for computers needing Trusteer. The reason for this request is because this I see as a pretty unique situation. Trusteer has a proprietary corner on the market. ...more »
Detailed Asset Reports can be hundreds of pages long. The column on the left side only shows the machine name once at the very top. It needs to appear on every page in that column for easy reference.
on the configuration menu we only get the option to select from the list of devices....this is a real pain if a customer has hundreds of devices and I only want to run the report for their 10 servers, or if I only want to see their 100 workstations/laptops. We should be able to filter this list by either our normal filter drop down menu or at least by device classes
