On certain devices the OID's value of a service we'd like to manage is a string only. It would be nice to map this string value to a integer value to be able set thresholds. Example: OID's value = green . Then make "green" = 1 . Then for the threshold set the value of 1 as "Normal". If the string value ever changes then "green" ≠ 1 and it switches to "Failed".
Partner has brought up the need of using take control to manage their chrome books (google OS), although this OS is currently not supported. Please consider adding this in the future.
It would be very helpful to have a report that summarized each notification and their triggers so as to avoid having to examine each notification individually.
We need the ability to use only SSH v2 for Open Session Objects
Currently we only support SSH v1 and trying to use SSH v2 fails
I would like to move objects based off of rules like i could with Kaseya. Meaning IF the public ip is 18.104.22.168 move to client Bob. If the device leaves that site, maybe to clinets home if that public ip does not match a rule then do nothing. you can improve upon this by being able to stack rules. I would like to be able to add a specific windows service to the dashboard
Allow Take Control to Default to other tabs, File Transfer or Command Line for instance
It would be nice to have the manufacture date of a device along with the warranty information. This would help for our customers that only get one year warranty on workstations, but replace them every 3 years. Right now I don't have a good way to pull this information.
It would be useful to have a permissions system in Report Manager to allow N-central users logging into Report Manager to run previews of scheduled reports owned by a single admin user without having permissions to change the report settings or schedule.
On "settings" the credential details can accidentally be auto filled with stored username and passwords.in some browsers. It't better if it's not.
Have access to site data, IP addresses, passwords, policies, etc. available via a link in N-Central. This will allow techs to quickly jump to the site they are working on in N-Central to view data in MSP Manger that will be required for them to do their job.
Have the External IP the device is posting to the Internet shown on the info screen. This will allow easy access to ensure the system is where is should be and to access the external IP of the firewall is so desired.
