Support for recovery to smaller target disks

In some cases, an MSP may seize an opportunity to upgrade a client's hardware when completing a Bare Metal Recovery using SolarWinds Backup. In an example scenario, they may upgrade a client to a Solid State Hard Drive (SSD) from a Hard Disk Drive (HDD). Typically, SSDs come in smaller sizes than HDDs; this presents an issue when conducting a Bare Metal Recovery, as the existing requirement is that the target disk size ...more »

Automated LSV Deactivation Improvement

Recently the functionality to automatically remove a LSV if not available for 2 weeks straight has been introduced.

However there is a flaw in this logic as this also applies to devices, which are simply offline for a certain amount of time.

If the LSV is in "failed" state and the device goes offline for two weeks, the LSV will be removed upon the next device boot.

Custom user permissions on Backup & Recovery Console

Raised on behalf of E-Quest Datacenter Diensten B.V.

Currently, only Superusers can edit the "TicketNr" custom column (and, therefore, other custom columns) on the Backup and Recovery Console.

Can the Operator user be amended to include this or, more broadly, can options be added to implement custom user permissions?

Manage Recovery Console Restore times

We would like to see an option to select when a restore runs, instead of manually setting it.

Right now you can only do one time restores which you have to manually start,

or continuous restores which run all the time.

With something like the clienttool but for the recovery console you could run

scripts that add or remove devices or start restores and the like.

NCentral - Add support for StorageNode

Apparently, to use a storagenode rather than the MSPBackup cloud as a target, can only be done with the standalone system.

I want to be able to use a storagenode with the NCentral profiles

This wuld best be done on a profile by profile basis.

I need this available as I have client with managed network links through my infrastructure. So current offsite backups never actually hit the internet.
