We need to be able to set up DKIM for email (alerts and reports) sent by RM&M with a from address that is within our domain.
MSP Remote Monitoring & Management
A server recently got hit with a Crypto Virus. The virus uninstalled the monitoring agent while it was syncing and the agent was removed from the dashboard along with all of it's history and data.
I would like a change that prevents the agent from being removed from the dashboard when the agent is uninstalled at the device. This would allow us to view any issues before it was removed from the device.
We use brightgauge internally as a dash-boarding tool and have received info that Solarwinds RMM does not provide API access to failed login attempts on monitored servers.
Is this in the pipeline?
Please add the service tag (S/N) as part of the data that the search queries. You can search for a computer name, or logged in user, but not the service tag.
Instead of sending every alert to specific emails, having the ability to send offline alerts to a specific group is a big boon.
In our case, Not everyone needs to see disk performance or definition out of date alerts, but the whole support team should be forwarded on offline servers.
With the current setup, this is not possible.
It would be great to have some sort of visual indication in the north pane to indicate if a device has been upgraded to v6
Currently it's not easy to find out which devices have been upgraded.
Perhaps a different colored icon or a new column.
I would find it massively useful if you could query the API with the device ID in order to obtain the client ID. As things stand you can get the Device ID from one of the ini files in the Advanced Monitoring Agent folder so if this was possible it would open up a lot of possibilities from a scripting point of view.
At present, whenever there is a network problem at a site which renders servers to go offline, we receive a tonne of alerts in our PSA and a lot of time is spent in managing those tickets in addition to the problem causing the alert. We would like to see a feature which allows certain types of alerts to be consolidated into a single email alert which in turn will create a single ticket in our PSA such as "Multiple servers ...more »
If you have your patch management in report mode, the check does not fail. Therefore you are not able to create a view in the filter view for "failed". It would either need a custom option or another checkbox for "missing" patches. I can see how having a missing column would not match for other checks, so it may need a checkbox that says custom, and then an option that you can specify words to look for in the output of ...more »
This is for the take control feature in RMM using the MSP anywhere engine. If this is more appropriate for the MSP Anywhere campaign please feel free to move but as it comes under RMM umbrella I've put here initially. In teamviewer you're able to configure the sound to come through from the device you're remotely connected to, this might be used to help diagnose a sound related issue. Unfortunately this option doesn't ...more »
Current Situation: When a site goes overdue, the default behaviour is for the site to have a red thunderbolt icon; the client does not go red, nor does the server; the server goes offline rather than overdue.
Change Request: When a site goes overdue, the whole client is red and can be recognized in the WallChart. The server goes overdue, not offline.
