Please add a system tray icon for MSP Anywhere AND the ability to re-enable the remote window notification if it is closed. Sometimes it is necessary to close the notification window in the lower right to access entire screen, but once closed the user no longer is aware that a remote session is enabled. For those of us that purchased Dashboard branding. It would be nice to atleast remove the SolarWinds name from the MSP Anywhere when remoting in.
Use the builtin Windows/Mac copy and paste feature for MSP Anywhere. Now I have to use the File Transfer all the time.
The drag-and-drop only drops files to the Desktop of the remote session...
It would be nice if there is an option so that the dashboard user can also customize his own whitelist. At this moment i can set the permission in "Roles and Permissions", but the user can then edit all my webprotection policies of all my customers and that is soemthing i don't want.
Currently, "Auto Close Ticket" is checked for Servers and Workstations under Settings> PSA Integration> Configure, however stacks of PSA alerts are quickly building up in the dashboard when tickets fail to close. It's my understanding that currently only one attempt by the system is made to close the ticket, which results in a failure alert if a condition on ConnectWise prevents closing the ticket. Add the ability for an agent to initiate a chat session with an RM endpoint. It would be preferable if the chat session could be started from the dashboard without having to take control of the workstation first.
I would imagine a click path such as the one below that works like the Remote Background button;
1. Select Workstations Tab
2. Highlight Workstation
3. Click "Chat" button.
Since we paid a good deal of money for branding, it would be really nice if the application can be installed using our brand instead of "Advanced Monitoring Agent GP" Many other RMM products allow for this -- either generating a custom MSI from the control panel using our company name or some field for input... or using an install switch with the Group Policy Deployment. This would be very useful to allow remote background registry edits from the dashboard. The would work in allowing us to work without interrupting our clients or the end user.
Right now, regardless of what agent version you are installing, if you set up a GPO deployment, it is showing as version 1.0 (tucked somewhere in the .MSI). In order to force an upgrade for machines (malfunctioning agents, etc), we currently have to manually update the machine. We need to be able to run a report that shows when the hardware warranty status is going to expire. Using the serial number we can manually look this up on HP, Dell, IBM or Lenovo's website but when we need a mass it is very labor intensive. Other MSP products on the market do this. The feature "Active Discovery" was a great enhancement for MAX RM. Finally, the Agent starts to discover the customer's subnet, too, and you can have a deeper look into his infrastructure.
