It would be great if the user could close chat session without maximizing the window.
Solarwinds Take Control
When a technician is recording a remote session, after 2 minutes of session inactivity a pop up message appears to ensure the technician wants to proceed with the recording. This pop up message interrupts the ongoing work on other remote sessions that might be happening simultaneously so it would be useful to be able to customize that recordings idle time message so the technician does not see his work disturbed.
With the new Take Control (7.00.01), the chat window was redesigned to look much cleaner. The client side on the other hand looks bad in comparison, and even still says 'MSP Connect.' While I appreciate a nicer 'look' to things, I think it's more important that the client side have the nicer looking parts since it goes to their impression of the MSP.
I would like to be able to paste the password when i first start Remote Control.
We use complex passwords for our customers so an error is made very easy.
Only the copy-paste function at the login screen is not working, after we have logged in it works perfect.
The ability to send the remote session Notes (taken during the session) to customers along with session reports.
Sharing Notes with customers would make it easier to share additional info regarding the remote session as well as facilitate Technician/Customer communications and data sharing.
When giving a customer remote access to their machines give the ability to isolate 1 machine out of a group.
It would be very helpful to implement the ability to erase deferred support requests for a better internal management and organization.
When the end users try to connect, even though they have installed the viewer plug in,they're always shown with the pop up saying "If you already installed our extension, click here to continue. If not, please download it using this link.". After clicking to continue they have to click again on the arrow to Connect in order to perform the desired remote session. The email notifications for support requests are only available on an applet context. Receiving email notifications when support requests come from the agent would be ideal.
As of version 7.00.00, with the removal of the General tab, sessions start in the Remote Desktop tab instead. By default, we wish to start in a tab that does not automatically result in sharing remote desktop control with the client (such as when logging into the wrong machine by mistake). We have set the option "Lock device when the remote session ends" on all servers. Sometimes a second technician joins the TC Session to assist. When he end his session, the device gets lock, regardless that the first technician is still logged in.
So pls alter the option
from "Lock device when the remote session ends"
to "Lock device when the last remote session ends"
Currently, during a Take Control session, if you attempt to resize the window from left to right or top to bottom, beyond the window's minimum size, the window is instead moved.
