Since we aggregate the data for the last 28 days of backups, it'd be convenience to have this information available to export so our customers can show their clients without needing to demonstrate through the Backup Manager window.
I asked support about a way to monitoring the status of a restore done through Recovery Console and they deemed it "impossible" at this time. Apparently, the logs are only stored in the cloud and not locally removing the same functionality that Backup Manager has to be able to be monitored through N-Central. Create a way to monitor restores via Recovery Console so we can actively monitor the restores without having to ...more »
Please allow use to alert on the "Selected Size" metric in the MSP Backup Status service within N-Central.
See attached images for reference.
Change Service Template to take scheduled jobs "Next Run" into account for "TIME SINCE LAST RUN (HOURS)".
And also auto import only scheduled jobs.
With the addition of features over the last few years, there's now a number of potential jobs that could be running on a server or workstation, some of these jobs are: - backups - antivirus scanning - patch management installation Currently, if we want to see if any of these jobs are running it would require someone to go to the machine in question and view the relevant south pane tab. Rather than put a failed state rollup in red, I would like to be able to customise the colours, especially to make backup failures a different colour
I would colour as follows:
Yellow - Backup Failures
Orange - 24/7 and DSC failures (non-backups)
Red - Graceful and abrupt communication failures
We would love to see an option to perform local backups to the LocalSpeedVault first and then sending data to the Cloud. The process should be quicker, even with compression. Then with the compression process already completed, sending the data to Cloud storage directly from the LocalSpeedVault should also be quicker. Now you have more efficient local backups as well as efficient local recovery. An alteration of this ...more »
Need some sort of notation to point out that the numbers in the Managed Online Backup reports do not match due to compression.
This is also the case when comparing data size of selected files and data stored in LocalSpeedVault.
When using the Backup Manager remotely for Managed Online Backup, can it has a title with the name of the server so we can keep straight for which server we are altering the MOB settings?
