Support Arcserve UDP v6.5 in the backup check

The backup check of the dashboard is only supporting Arcserve up to Version 6 at the moment with version 6.5 the agent seems to be unable to recognize any of the backup jobs.

This software has been released for quite some time now so it would be a great addition to the check.

Thank you for your consideration.

Update antivirus update check to use definition signatures

I can't find how to delete this. Support emailed me back today and changed their response from it's working as intended to it is a bug and was related to how the definition was being scraped. Could have saved some time if we looked into it more thoroughly last week but here we are. If someone can let me know how to delete this or just close it since support now considers my issue a bug that would be great. It would ...more »

Run Task on Check Failure to include Vulnerability scan

The ability to run a task on a check failure is essential to automating resolutions to common problems. Since we are having to manage the VulnScan regularly, it would be advantageous to be able to run some "quick Fixes" to see if those can solve the issues prior to our involvement. Several people have come up with (mostly) automated ways of dealing with some of the vuln scan issues. But it still takes time to kick ...more »

backup check failing due to backup running

Ability of backup check to know that if a backup is running it should not report a failed check or backup status cannot be determined. We as MSPs love clearing our boards and only want to know if there is something that really requires our attention. The check should be able to determine that a backup is "in progress."

Notify of changed erorr on a cleared check

Some Checks are checking multiple things (e.g. 'Physical Disk Check' checks multiple harddrives).

Currently a cleared check does not light up, if the error changes. A competitor is altering cleared-check-behavior, so you can choose, if you want to get notified if a cleared check changes. I would like to see this in MAX RM also.

Nines of uptime in the dashboard?

Would it be possible o have a nines of uptime check / column in the dashboard? I understand it cannot be that accurate and may not be "admissible" as evidence for uptime calculations but it would be interesting if we can rank servers by amount of uptime experienced over a rolling number of months (1, 3, 6, 12?) and maybe a filter that will show servers with less than 2, 3 4 nines of uptime so we can investigate at a ...more »

Translate Hex timestamps to System Time

Many applications report timestamps in Hex format. i.e. Faulting application start time: 0x01d281cb61439181 When a Check finds a Critical Event in Event Viewer it simply dumps that data into the email without reporting the time the event was logged to the system (which is in human-readable format.) The hex timestamp is not something most of us can translate in our heads on the fly. Please either convert the hex or report ...more »

Run task per check failure, not per outage

As it turns out, if you have configured an automated task to run each time a check fails, it only runs the first time the check fails and not on any consecutive failures. That is, it runs once per outage and won't run again until the check passes and then fails again. Sometimes that's fine. In other cases I really want the task to run each and every time the check comes back as failed. For example, I have an event log ...more »
