The option to set the amount of fails before the alarm gets triggered should also be adjustable for vulnerability checks, just like the service checks. This check often fails through temporary problems so it would be beneficial to get an option like this. There was also a request about the "unable to collect scandata" error, is it possible to not let the check fail through this error? An option to set this "yes" or "no" ...more »
The option to set the amount of fails before the alarm gets triggered should be adjustable for every single script check, just like the service checks.
Current Situation: When a site goes overdue, the default behaviour is for the site to have a red thunderbolt icon; the client does not go red, nor does the server; the server goes offline rather than overdue.
Change Request: When a site goes overdue, the whole client is red and can be recognized in the WallChart. The server goes overdue, not offline.
Requesting for additional support for Kaspersky 10.1 For server as it is not being detected by SolarWinds RMM Antivirus Check.
When Configuring checks like SNMP/OID checks don't work (in our case), we found event-id's coming from the HP system management console along with the event-sources. We can configure the event-sources as a 24x7 check in RMM, and RMM detects them nicely and generates faults when a piece of hardware (e.g. Harddisk) fails. Upon the next check (approx 5 min.) the check automatically clears. So if we don't notice the faulty ...more »
My company uses the Solarwinds RMM agent on many thin clients and since thin clients do not need to be kept up to date with the latest security patches we would love to see the ability to completely turn off vulnerability scans without uninstalling patch management.
When adding a check for a service or critical events to a monitoring template there is no order, when adding them to a single device they are ordered alphabetically. is there a way to get both menus ordered the same way (preferably alphabetically)?

if a 24/7 check is being checked, a green "hook" or even a red "X" will appear. While the red "X" can be seen in the detail of the HIstory when the check failed, but if the check was successful, the history can not be seen. Example: The Review/Check "Size Of Exchange Datastore". We would like to understand the growth and want to see when the database was so great .... etc. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ...more »
The backup check of the dashboard is only supporting Arcserve up to Version 6 at the moment with version 6.5 the agent seems to be unable to recognize any of the backup jobs.
This software has been released for quite some time now so it would be a great addition to the check.
Thank you for your consideration.
I can't find how to delete this. Support emailed me back today and changed their response from it's working as intended to it is a bug and was related to how the definition was being scraped. Could have saved some time if we looked into it more thoroughly last week but here we are. If someone can let me know how to delete this or just close it since support now considers my issue a bug that would be great. It would ...more »
from the API we can re run any specific task, why can't we do the same with a single check since we can do it from the dashboard ?
UPDATE: Ability to re-run a single check on demand
The ability to run a task on a check failure is essential to automating resolutions to common problems. Since we are having to manage the VulnScan regularly, it would be advantageous to be able to run some "quick Fixes" to see if those can solve the issues prior to our involvement. Several people have come up with (mostly) automated ways of dealing with some of the vuln scan issues. But it still takes time to kick ...more »
