Would like to see an option to configure a timeout on remote control sessions in N-central. Would like to be able to configure a 15 minute timeout after no activity for the specified time. Currently there is no option to configure a timeout (N-central Case# 00927594).
I would like an option to globally, or per customer restrict the number of concurrent remote control / remote management sessions. For customers with certain compliance requirements, we need to ensure we can account for every remote control session and change made on a per-tech basis. Maintaining a unique set of credentials for every device in every customer environment for each of our Technicians is not easy. If we ...more »
We have the following situation: Our support technicians have access to most of our customers, but not all - e.g. some customers who quit their contract but are still in N-Central. No technician should see them, edit them or get alarms from them. We allow our technicians in N-Central 11.1 the access via an Access-Group, but obviously NOT with the SO-Level because not all of the customers should be seen. The following ...more »
While current MDM functionality is a boon, I opine that the most needed feature is remote control of mobile devices.
Please add this functionality as soon as possible.
Thanks in advance,
MSPAnywhere is not a complete replacement for Team Viewer. Not being able to hear the audio for some of my clients is an issue because they do work with audio equipment. Additionally we lost the ability to Call by Internet or Voice Chat. These features need to be brought back.
We would like to be able to report on devices based on their remote control method, and whether unattended access is configured. A "who changed this" would be great as well.
This would be useful to determine compliance in situations that require this information, and to easily let our clients know when they ask for this information.
In addition to session start and end, I'd like to see file transfer activity in the Take Control report. The logging should include the name and size of the file(s) transferred and the direction of the transfer Some of our customers with regulatory or other security requirements require that all data transfers (by employees and service providers) be logged.
Show a pop-up window confirming the tech has disconnected from the session. We often stay connected accidentally or the client wants to be sure we are disconnected. We usually close the blue pop-up window showing that "So and So has Connected" remotely, but we also need a confirmation saying when we've DISconnected. Allow the End User to disconnect if desired. All other remote tools have this functionality. Also ...more »
It would be nice to have Take Control functionalities for Terminalservers-
Especially the Chat Notifications and Session notifications
Currently with Teamviewer there are options to add a display photo and customise the text that's displayed when you remotely access a machine. With the introduction of MSP Anywhere last year, it needs to be brought in-line with functionality teamviewer has (at least where useful). The current branding options with MSP Anywhere are pretty thin here, we have the option to 'show visual indicator' which is essentially just ...more »
Found a problem with MSP take control
The copy and paste doesn’t work copying info from my laptop to a client’s machines – I have to click on ‘interaction’ and then get clipboard all time, a right pain
Not sure if this is in the works or even an idea. But, it would be nice to initiate a chat session with prior to remoting into their computer. Several times, my clients say "shoot me an email to let me know you are getting on", for monthly maintenance. A lot of times, they do not read their email for hours. Then leaving me to wait till they get off the phone or return from lunch. It makes it difficult to remote ...more »
