I've noticed that some of our clients' devices have not been getting AV Defender agent updates. Our maintenance windows are usually set on the weekends or late at night, so I suspect that the users are turning off their PCs despite us telling them otherwise. For Windows updates, there's an option to have the updates installed the next time the machine boots up. It would be great if there was a similar option for AV Defender. ...more »
When installing MAV, any existing AV checks are still present even though they have been uninstalled or disabled by the agent.
These checks should be automatically removed when installing MAV.
Would be nice to have a little more control on when the workstation backup checks fail in the dashboard. 90% of the time the backup check has failed because the computer wasn't on the day before, or the backup was still seeding, or the user booted their PC after the daily safety check time.
For workstations it would be nice to be alerted only if a successful backup hasn't completed in, say , 3 or 4 days.
Some other options on the Bitdefender quarantine tab would be helpful. 1. I'd like to see an option to release from quarantine without adding a whitelist entry. In practice, Bitdefender seems to suffer from false positives pretty often. I would like to trigger a definition update, then release the quarantined files (without whitelisting) to see if the newer definitions will fix the problem. The policy whitelists get ...more »
B&R - add client/site/device to subject Hey there, currently when you enable backup reports for Managed Online Backup / Backup & Recovery, you get mails which return machine and device name, which is info that you cannot work with, considering there are many similar devices with a similar name. It would be easier to identify and assign the report to a device in your dashboard if you received info from which device (client/site/device) ...more »
Currently the only solution is to delete the check from the template. I do not want to do this. Is there another way of handling this that can be automated?
Malwarebytes has just come out with their MSP solution. When is our RMM going to get an integrated malwarebytes version. Bitdefender + Malwarebytes would be an excellent 1-2 punch and an additional revenue generator.
Bitdefender has been touting their product for a while. A/V A/M are absolute necessities for Macs these days. I have seen topics open on this since 2013.
I think it is time to get this in place.
AV Defender is currently available for the Windows platform, however, there is no centralized AV for Mac devices.
1) Would like the ability in N-Central to Manage the client backup directly from the All Devices View and in the client. 2) Would like the ability to see all backup user in N-Central under a dedicated view (same thing as backup.management for all customers) even ones not using essentials/pro licenses. 3)Under client tools - File System. I would like a onetime backup now option for individual files and folders with a ...more »
We have some clients that have a lot of tablets or laptops that are somewhat infrequently used. Despite our attempts at running multiple quick scans a day, including some during business hours, these devices are frequently not on during the time of the scheduled task. It appears that there used to be a command line scanner in BitDefender. I opened a ticket with N-central support and was told that the only way to do a ...more »
Is it possible to add more information if the deep scan failed? For example if it failed because of a shutdown with a note "Canceled because of a shutdown."
