Need a way for a customer to roll back changes made to the Backup Manager's Preferences / settings / data source selections / etc.
We needed a solution for your Manage Online Backup reporting. The report just says “server1” but not the full name or domain of the server.
We have many customers with servers with the same name and have no way to tell which server did complete based on the email reports.
Email subject show only "Backup for | server1 | Completed | 0 days 10 hours ago"
Users can exclude/blacklist file extensions just fine. Unfortunately they can't whitelist them. If I'd like to back up only word, excel and pdf documents for example, I'd have to exclude all other file formats. Another user case is when dealing with small selection size products (Max Backup). Lets say the selected size limit is 5Gb. Documents folder (containing thousands of files of all kind) is selected, but it's 7Gb ...more »
It would be awesome to have a Way to export the Configuration of Managed Online Backup in some way.
When we want to Push equal configurations to various customers an Import - Export Button for the Backup Manager Specific Settings would be awesome.
There is nowher in the dashboard/reports where you can see if a MOB backup has "archiving" set on.
That yould be nice. It would then be easy to identify the one missing "archiving"
Since the previous update to the dashboard, the MOB "show password" under the Edit Workstation window does not function. You click on it but doesn't work which means it does not show the password. When I click the "show password" button to reveal the GUI password in MOB nothing happens. I'm logged in as the Master User and have tried to "show password" on multiple machines, but haven't had any luck. I have escalated ...more »
it is not possible using MOB reports to get an overview of which device that have archiving enabled, how often atchining are performed, when the last archiving was performed etc etc.
Very useful when you want to make sure that archiving is switch on and are working.
Currently, MOB is designed to perform prebackup script, backup to localspeedvault, post-backup script, and finally online backup --- in that order. This is more than a little bit odd behavior given that the product is named "Managed ONLINE Backup" and one of the settings is named "post-backup script" The post backup script should run after MOB is complete (local speedvault and online portions). Not a bad idea if you ...more »
Currently MAX Backup can push backup stats to Autotask and ConnectWise. Please add this same capability for Managed Online Backup in MAX RemoteManagement.
We need separate upload/download bandwidth throttling options in MOB. I'm doing a restore now that I really want to go fast, but it seems to have been throttled down by the business hours limit, which is very low. Either have the two options or give me the option to override the throttling when I'm creating the restore job.
We have intermittend troubles with backup jobs to MOB at client v 14.1.
The problems we have are already solved in newer clients in IASO and MAXBACKUP
IASO and MAXbackup are already upgraded to 15.6 client.
We are told by LN that MOB client 15.6 will get there to the end of the year.
We would like to see this speeded up.
Would be a great idea to be able to place 'limits' for MOB.
I currently sell MOB in 10GB segments, and have to look each month to see how much data the client has used, and if they've exceeded their agreed limit.
Having functionality with MOB to do this would be great, especially as there are competing products that include this facility as standard.
