Need a way for a customer to roll back changes made to the Backup Manager's Preferences / settings / data source selections / etc.
It is clear as day every time that without debug logging enabled, pulling logs for integrated RMM backup clients is next to useless because they provide no info. SInce debug logging needs to be enabled to gain any knowledge of anything, why can't it be enabled by default?
Looking to be able to restore to external drive or network path from Backup Manager and Recovery Console. This is essential for some clients where storage space is at a premium.
Would like to see a function available in Backup Manager to filter for and back up specific file types (separate from the Documents backup, that's built into the All-In version of the Backup Manager software).
I would love the Connectivity service to ping every 1 min instead of 15 min on an essential license. There are free ping only open source tools available on the market such as SmokePing, but would be great to be able to keep the single pane of glass. I locations assigned to tickets in MSP Manager to export to with invoices Quickbooks Online so that my billing batch invoices are exported to the correct location in Quickbooks Online.
Would like for the Backup Manager to automatically filter the LSV path in case the LSV gets accidentally selected for backup, to prevent backing up the LSV information.
Customer requests to add Quickbooks' main file types to the Documents backup solution.
Some files in long paths with long names make it hard to see the exact file name to determine exactly which file to restore. Would like to see the ability to hover over to get the name, or scroll over to see the entire file name, during a restore.
Would be nice to have a little more control on when the workstation backup checks fail in the dashboard. 90% of the time the backup check has failed because the computer wasn't on the day before, or the backup was still seeding, or the user booted their PC after the daily safety check time.
For workstations it would be nice to be alerted only if a successful backup hasn't completed in, say , 3 or 4 days.
B&R - add client/site/device to subject Hey there, currently when you enable backup reports for Managed Online Backup / Backup & Recovery, you get mails which return machine and device name, which is info that you cannot work with, considering there are many similar devices with a similar name.
