Hey there, we would like to see an option to specify the allocated space for the Caching Service. Currently this is set to 10GB by default and the cache folder will not be cleared before hitting the threshold. This means unnecessarily wasted disk space on Drive C:\. To solve this we would like to see either a way to have a cleaning mechanism linked to the file age in the cache folder or the ability to set a certain size ...more »
A check in MSP RMM dashboard for MSP Backup & Recovery backup.
Very much like the same for MOB so you can keep track of selected size or if a backup exceeds fair use size for backups sold per device.
There is a problem with setting a file size check. We are trying to monitor a 3.28 GB file. We set the file check to alert if larger than 3.4 GB. This was causing the check to fail even though the check was reporting back it found the file to be 3.28 GB. This issue was confirmed by LogicNow tech support per case # 00291079. Their response is here: *** "I wanted to let you know that I have confirmed the issue. ...more »
Since the reports have been updated, the size of these reports has increased dramatically. For example one client whose report use to be just under 1Mb each week is now getting reports 13Mb +. Understandably they want the size reduced. I think it would be good idea to either have these reports investigated to reduce the size or alternatively add an option to compress the reports (zip) In the meantime I have to now ...more »
Currently we use the Managed Online Backup Size Check in our Max environment.
Unfortunately it displays the complete back-up size and not the size after it applies the filter, meaning the exact size of the backed up data.
It will be nice if we can check the backed up data size so we can check if the customer is consistent with its contract.
Many of our customers pay for a "block" (eg up to 500 GB) of backup data. This includes all backups from all devices. It would be great if there were a way to set a limit to total selected backup size per customer (partner), so that if the customer nears or reaches the limit, we receive an alert of some kind.
Would like the ability to see the actual selected size of a backup without having to start the back up and wait for the size to be estimated. then stop the backup in order to get an accurate size.
Implement a process to perform backups of large amounts of data (500GB+) to a Local Vault which can be shipped to the data center so that subsequent backups (i.e. differential/incremental) can quickly be updated overnight. As it stands now a 500GB backup over ADSL will take 90 days. There has to be a faster way.
At the moment if you want to see the selected size for backup for a backup account you have to open backup manager or get your calculator out and add up the different jobs on the backup tab in the dashboard. As backup pricing is changing to be purley based on backup size this is even more important. What I would like is a report that tells me the selected backup size for backup accounts so that we can bill accordingly. ...more »
I would like to see the Dashboard show the size of individual mailboxes in Exchange rather that just the overall Exchange store file size.
