The software inventory report contains thousands of records when you consider all the users and workstations in a network. Being able to sort or filter out, by date, just the applications that were installed in the past x days, would be helpful in identifying what has actually been added to the network.

Example: a not authorized people to modify, unfix or install/unistall a hardware/software without authorization. And possibility of a report of what HARDWARE/SOFTWARE was modificated.

Looking for N-central software to be able to detect out dated software and have the capability to auto update or upgrade software when new versions become available.
Such as Malwarebytes
We can detected that a new version is available and have N-central push new version to device or devices.
Would like for the Agent to pull the registry uninstall commands and allow N-Central to one button push uninstall any app/application on the client machine. Also, would like to have a checkbox (per user, device and global options) to automatically remove applications when they are found in the system. Windows 10 apps that are installed via the Windows Store do not show on dashboard under the "Assets" tab. They also do not show up under "Programs and Features" in the Control Panel.
However, if you go Settings > Apps & features in Windows 10, you can see these Windows store apps.
We would like to see the Apps tab show the apps that are installed via the Windows Store as well.
Currently there is the ability to view the modification report which shows the software installed for which computer however, it also shows each individual update that is also installed. Clicking on the device, the assets tab and then software tab lays out the software installed which is what we need to be able to export into a csv file for each computer at a client's site to only show the software installed
Updating supported software through Patch Management, in this case the Foxit Reader (PDF), causes the default language of the software to switch to english. This leads to the uncomfortable solution of having to manually switch back the language to the one it its supposed to be in of each installed instance. This can become quite tedious depending on the amount of device who received the update. So my request is to be ...more »
I would like to be able to separate the updates that are applied to the Mac by operating system and other software at the very least. I have need to turn off some updates, but that can't be done without disabling all updates. Ideally, I would like even more control to disable updates for a particular piece of software. My use case for this ability is that Mac-MSP updated VirtualBox on my main workstation. I use VirtualBox ...more »
There are two great ideas that are related so I'll mention them as one feature request. The install from URL feature is a nice touch, but it's not relevant for a lot of programs today that you simply can't get to that way. What would be great is for you to allow me to create my own file repository - even if you charged us x dollars for x amount of repository space. You could allow MSI files and EXE files. That's it. ...more »
That card has only one info for me: all my clients using the latest version. It pops up everyday. How is that supposed to help me?
