Could you make it possible that when a automation script has been run we can put the output of the script into the body of an e-mail without having to mail it through a self defined smtp server. Now i use the Nofication Sussess Failed and Send task output file in Email. But this is in a zipped file and i would like to have it as the Body of the mail. I think it would be of benefit if a device's maintenance windows were available as scripting triggers.
So if there's tasks we wish to perform in sync with a device's existing windows, we can just set it to 'run 60 minutes before reboot' rather than make multiple different scheduled task profiles.
When creating an automation policy that includes a SSH script. The scripts timesout after 60seconds.
But when running a config backup of a network device, this is too short.
It would be nice to be able to use booleans in an automation policy with the added effect of allowing certain input parameters to only show when certain boxes are checked. This would allow for more complex and user friendly Automation Policies without the need to give the user to many options when they are running specific Automation Policies. Hi, I have a successful failed check and run automated task setup for Windows Defender updates. However, the loop doesnt close when the automated task runs successfully. So I am left with an open alert and ticket. The suggestion is to run the associated DSC check(s) again manually. The ability to run a task on a check failure is essential to automating resolutions to common problems. In Kaseya if we pushed out a procedure (read scheduled task) to a bunch of machines we could tell it to queue the machines over a time frame (say 4 hours) so that you didn't have 50 machines all trying to access the same file share at the same time with the same credentials.
