The usable automated task 'add user to local group' does not have any failure conditions, so if it is returning an error it would still show up as successful in the dashboard with no indication that it failed whatsoever. We contacted SolarWinds Support and this was their message: "I downloaded the script and had a look and there does not look to be any failure conditions. Currently there is no way to change that on ...more »
I want to be able to grab files from any system backed up to the cloud and be able to move them to any other system. Please make this a possibility. This should be a basic thing for simple file backup and recovery. If you could make this a thing for hyper-v and xenservers, that would be cool too.
When you place a service request, the cancel order button returns to Request Service after a certain amount of time. I suggest that the Engineering team increase the timeout to at least 30 minutes, thus avoiding call forwarding to the MSP queue.
When adding a check for a service or critical events to a monitoring template there is no order, when adding them to a single device they are ordered alphabetically. is there a way to get both menus ordered the same way (preferably alphabetically)?

It would be nice to have Take Control functionalities for Terminalservers-
Especially the Chat Notifications and Session notifications
Yellow devices on pending installation
how about marking Devices which have pending installations with yellow device buttons.
then we could select whether we want to have them warn or not warn.
this would be an optimal addition for onboarding new Customers - then we would see whether 100% of devices have successfully installed MAV
Please add a "Appoval Date" to Patches within Patchmanagement.
Currently we have to search the User activity log when we want to find out when a Patch was released and approved for installation.
Please add the Option to edit multiple devices at once - we cannot edit the Features installed here.
You could Grey-out all the Settings (hostname etc) but changing 3 Devices to a different Policy of a Feature is currently only possible by editing every device single handedly.
If there would be an option to define which networkadapter has to be used during Patching via Patchmanagement
And on top of that a Timeframe for Patching - not only "14:00" but rather "18-22" Never on another time, and asap if within that timeframe
Then we could monitor Devices of "out of office" Workers (consultants etc.) correctly and deliver patchmanagement for these customers too.
Allow scheduled shutdown as well as reboot from the dashboard. This would help when companies have workmen coming in before our support hours that require the power to be turned off.
please adjust the color scheme of the dashboard so that disabled or unavailable option can be read easier. Grey on grey is not necessarily easy to read.
Thank you for considering this.
Currently MAV and WebProtection are handeled with Policys, whilst patchamangement is configured directly through Customer / Site / Device.
Can we recieve the option to have Policys for Patchmanagement as well?
So that we can work around the Customer /Site /Device hirarcy?
Currently Bitdefender Policys can only exclude data that fits certain Character restrictions..
It would be nice to exclude any Character within Bitdefenders Policy including
? # | & ; @ " < > * + ^
I would like to be able to send a client a windows or anything else that needs to let them know about events. Right now I have to do a cut and paste into their email address via outlook. it is time consuming to do this
