Within Settings > Alerts > Alert Policy it would be nice if it were possible to create server / workstation alerts per client instead of this applying to all clients. We have a scenario where we use Patch Management for a group of clients and would like alerts to be setup for these only without this affecting other clients with different email alert options.
I would like an alert to be created that clearly displays when a folder is removed from the selection. This can speed up the identification of some kind of problem.
One of our clients had a Print Server that was struggling with the number of print jobs. While it was struggling N-Able would alert a 'Failure' on high CPU and create a ticket. The Server would then reboot itself, clearing the print queue. CPU monitoring would then go back into a 'Normal' state, closing the ticket. This happened 5-6 times within a week. If N-Able had recognized the trend or reoccurring issue, the Service ...more »
At present, whenever there is a network problem at a site which renders servers to go offline, we receive a tonne of alerts in our PSA and a lot of time is spent in managing those tickets in addition to the problem causing the alert. We would like to see a feature which allows certain types of alerts to be consolidated into a single email alert which in turn will create a single ticket in our PSA such as "Multiple servers ...more »
It would be amazing if you could acknowledge an email-based alert notification by clicking a link that could be included in the email. Would make it much easier for alerts to be acknowledged instead of someone replying to the email "disregard, I'm on it" and save from having to log into NCentral UI or mobile app every time. Also would benefit because if you have external/customer contacts that receive email alerts but ...more »
It would be very helpful, if we can set the maintenance mode for special checks instead to the whole device.
If there is an issue on services for third party software, it would be helpful to set the service check to maintenance mode but leave the other checks in normal mode. so we could be alerted when the disk runs out of space or any script check runs into an alert
One of the key features the current MDM is missing, is the ability to configure data usage threasholds, and send an alert when the threashold is met.
We have alert routing on certain checks that are different to the parent, which works great.
However, I would like to e able to see at a glance which alerts have this none inherit alert routing setup.
I'm thinking an additional column in the bottom navigation frame - example attached.
We need alerts on things like Service Utilization, hours against projects and things like that. If we have an hour retainer contract, we need assigned users alerted when the contract is getting close, so that we know not to go over or talk with the client and so on. The manual way that you have to do it now is unacceptable to keep everyone up to date with things.
Hello, It would be really handy to trigger some alerts when using Active Discovery: Here are some examples: 1/ The ability to set an alert when a given MAC address is connected to a mananged network 2/ The ability to get an alert each time a new device is connected to the managed network, or the first time it is connected These alerts would be SMS/Emails, and/or a visual warning within the dashboard. (just like a monitoring ...more »
Hi, I have a successful failed check and run automated task setup for Windows Defender updates. However, the loop doesnt close when the automated task runs successfully. So I am left with an open alert and ticket. The suggestion is to run the associated DSC check(s) again manually. For full automation it would be good to have the associated DSC check run again, say 2 or 3 times max (to prevent an infinite loop on continuous ...more »
I know we can just toggle the monitoring of specific services to off, but we'd like the ability to have them automatically turn back on after a set amount of time - similar to downtime maintenance windows at the device level. This will help us keep from getting spammed by services that continue to bounce between normal/failed/misconfigured/whatever while they are being worked on BUT without the risk of someone disabling ...more »
