As of right now the mav interface on desktops and servers is not password protected . So any user or malicious software can stop the program and/or service. This is important for a lot of customers!
A large client is using "Panda Adaptive Defence 360" and needs support for this anti-virus solution.
We'd like to have the ability to exclude alert notifications for certain scanned file/file types. This is for instances where a file type that is just ignored (e.g. ost, html, cab) are still logged but wont notify as "Present" status repeatedly. The Global Exclusion excludes the file/file type from getting scanned but we would prefer to still see it on the audit trail, that way it would still be included on the reports ...more »
the ability to disable scanning when a device is on the battery would be very useful as we currently have clients that are having problems with the battery draining quite fast.
As Panda is now moving towards Panda Cloud Protection Plus with their Aether Agent, we do not have an AV check that we can use that will display any information for this product. It was suggested by Support that we raise this as an "idea".
Whitelisted addresses should not bypass virus scanning checks in the spam filter. Please submit your idea with care. Remember to tell us *what* you want to do, *why* you want to do it, and *who* it will benefit. What : Mail Assure spam filter to stop viruses from being delivered to mailboxes. Why : nobody needs to receive an emailed virus, even if the address is whitelisted (or the whitelisted address is spoofed). ...more »
Right now, if you enable AV defender for an X number of devices, you will not get feedback if it is indeed succesfully installed.
you have to go trough each agent, or hover over the device to see if the version is installed or not. Also, you will not get notified if the existing anti-virus programm was uninstalled (if there was any).
We have had an issue where some is in the NOC and turning off AV protection. It would be nice to have an entry in the audit log if someone does this or a similar task
As Solarwinds RMM supports F-Secure Internet Security, F-Secure are moving away from that product and are now using Computer Protection instead.
We need the ability to monitor F-Secure Computer Protection as an Antivirus check on the RMM agent.
It would be great to be able to pull a report for all devices at a client showing their scan dates like you can for windows machines in RMM. It would make it a lot easier to see the status of AV scans for clients with macs instead of individually going in and looking at each one's devices logs on the MAC-MSP Site.
Requesting for additional support for Kaspersky 10.1 For server as it is not being detected by SolarWinds RMM Antivirus Check.
would be nice if MSP RMM supported the Securepoint Antivirus Pro and provide the associated checks.
