Automation Manager Loopback

I was messing around with the Automation Manager just to see what we could do with it. It's pretty cool but there's one key thing that I think would be very useful. When doing an If/Else policy, I noticed there was no way to loop back the Else control flow after it had run to re-run the policy to then continue with the "Then" control flow. This would mean you'd either have to copy the rest of your If/Else policy after ...more »

Limit user access to certain Automation policies

It would be helpful to limit what users can access certain Automation policies created by a company. Example: user A can see and run automation scripts 1, 2, and 3... But User B can see and run automation scripts 3, 4, and 5. Our old platform Kaseya had folder structure for procedures and access was given at the folder level. Currently if a user has access to run an automation policy or script they can see all scripts ...more »

Automation Manager: FTP Errors, but ResultString stays empty

On the download ftp file object in Automation manager, if the result isn't 0, the ResultString stays empty. If you look into the logs, you have the error next to the name of te object. That is the whole point of having a ResultString output, to output the error message into this. I'm guessing this is by far the only object in Automation Manager that has this flaw. I would like to output this error to nCentral, but I do ...more »

Mail custom made powershell output as body

Now i use the Nofication Sussess Failed and Send task output file in Email. But this is in a zipped file and i would like to have it as the Body of the mail. Maybe you can make a output to body of nofication mail in the automation ...more »

Adding customer name and site to email alerts

When creating an automation policy, I need a way to include the customer ID and the Site and the machine id in N-central (not necessarily the net bios name) in an email that is being sent out. If i could pull this information into a variable that would be great. An email that only contains the computer name is not very useful with you have thousands of computers.

Accept Booleans as Check Boxes for Automation Policies

It would be nice to be able to use booleans in an automation policy with the added effect of allowing certain input parameters to only show when certain boxes are checked. This would allow for more complex and user friendly Automation Policies without the need to give the user to many options when they are running specific Automation Policies. To give a small example, I have a disk cleanup script that has multiple sections ...more »
