We need the ability to granularly control downtime windows down to the device monitoring service level in order to effectively suppress known or expected issues that would otherwise generate unneeded tickets that take man hours to document and close out.
Would like the ability to restore an entire folder at once, rather than individual emails that require being searched one by one.
There are other competing products which offer granular control over the mailboxes being backed up through Office 365 (With Datto being an example); we've had a request from a customer to add this feature to MSP Backup.
is it possible to add additional configuration to profiles, like only allow enduser to change proxy settings and nothing else?
You shouldn't need to allow a user to have access to manage Patch Management just so that they can see reports on patching.
I want Account Managers to have access to Reports but don't want them to be able to change configuration/approvals etc.
I'd like the ability to access all reports without having admin access to all the sections (Patch Mgmt, AV Status, Backup Manager etc)
The whole user roles and permissions system should be revamped. We'd like to be able to customize more the roles for our users. As an example, we'd like to prevent a user from switching the monitored services on or off in Direct Support (Tools > Services) We'd like to give him access to the services but as a read only mode, or even customize him to be able to restart a service, and to be able to customize if the user ...more »
Could you make the e-mail alerting a little more granular? I'd like to receive notification of new tickets in our 'Support Queue', so I have that set to "queue specific", but I don't want to receive an e-mail of internal notes on tickets I'm not assigned to as I'm getting swamped.
There seems to be no way to handle this at present
we would wish for a feature to select alerts for specific clients or sites to make it easier to manage special needs for alerts.
Basically just add a dropdown menu in the alert policy dialogue, to select the specific customer/site.
There should be a way to restore a single item from an Exchange backup performed via the Managed Online Backup solution. We frequently encounter clients who need a single message or contact or calendar entry restored, and to accomplish this task without single item restore requires restoring the whole (multi-GB) Exchange database, then plucking out whatever items you need. When dealing with Exchange restores, we never ...more »
At the moment most things are configured at the "Client" level which makes life difficult to do things for clients that have sites that are independently managed. To name but a few: Most reports including client inventory, critical events, fault history, software licence reports. Also be good to be able to assign site level permissions for view-only (would be good to have more levels of permissions as well). Site ...more »
Add the granular restore technology.
Would be nice if you want to restore individual mailboxes or single mails.
