Auto uninstall agent when deleted from the dashboard

When a customer ever stops using our monitor or MSP services, we need to uninstall the agent from their PCs. 1. This is a good practice for keeping things clean. 2. We don't want competitors who may follow us to find out what technology we're using. They need to build their own businesses themselves. It would be very helpful in these situations, if the agents would auto-uninstall themselves after we have deleted a client, ...more »

Add more info for "Hacker" check rather than just # of attempts

I notice that the DSC hacker check is able to report on the number of attempts that have occurred over the past 24 hours. However, it would be nice that the hacker check would show a summary of what user name(s) caused the authentication or login failure and associate that account with the number of attempted failures Also, it would be nice to see what time the failures have occured during the day. Ability needed to popup notification to get users attention

Sometimes a user becomes unavailable they change their phone number, they get a new email address, etc and we need to be able to popup a message to alert them to an issue or to have them contact us with a new phone number, email address, or just call us back.

This is becoming a bigger issue at renewal time trying to track them down.

Add other network devices / Device discovery / Network scanning

I know you can use the server to SNMP to other devices, be would be really good to be able to add routers, switches, WAPs, PBX etc as objects in the dashboard that then link back to a server SNMP check. Would make the monitor MUCH more complete. If you were then able to poll the device and get info from SNMP and HTTP or TELNET to fill details (make, model, serial, warrant) and we had fields we can put access information ...more »

Realtime Server & Network Monitoring

(Posted by ChrisM on behalf of Lewis) The cornerstone of Server, Network and System monitoring is being able to know and respond if there is a network outage or server down. The device overdue, and a 5 min 247 ping check does not provide realtime alerting for when the network and/or server goes down. Hence the customer, whilst paying for their new managed service, proactive monitoring, is calling us to tell us their ...more »
