Patch installation seems to fail frequently without any indication of why if fails or how to resolve the problem. Since "something" happens for the agent to know that the patch didn't install, couldn't that "something" be conveyed into the status info perhaps even with some useful information about what to do about the problem.
I would like to see full support for MAC, anti virus, asset and monitoring
Similar to the multiple accounts with one login, I see a need to have ability for multiple logins for ONE account. I am one company, with TWO IT personnel. They have to use the same login. Why not allow us two allow two user accounts. And secondly, maybe the ability to limit one to only assigning licenses and seeing status, but not making policy changes.
Would like the ability to be able to transfer files back and forth on a remote machine without having to remote directly into the users machine. So basically they would have no idea what we are doing.
You are collecting excellent data. Provide a way for your users to download this data for instance asset reporting, software, hardware, etc.
It could be a simple csv file that could be imported into excel. include all the pc data available, MAC address, ip, name, last update time, last 5 users maybe, etc... include software versions, hardware, etc.
The fact that there are only five total reports is pretty bad. Most reports focus on potential issues but none show results. Why are there no reports that show how effective GFICloud is? I'd love to show Management how many threats have been stopped and how many computers have been patched since GFICloud was implemented. But I can't - I can only tell them to trust me. Would it really be that challenging to add another ...more »
Love the Web Protection feature - however without reporting it is only about 50% useful.
Reports are needed on a per user basis that would show, at a minimum, (a) all activity and (b) sites that were blocked. Time spent on a site as well as overall time browsing would be useful as well.
Not sure how you can release something without the ability to generate reports.
How about a mobile app (Android and Apple)? If not, how about a mobile-friendly web interface? It would be nice to be able to manage threats, initiate scans and acknowledge alerts when mobile.
To be able to list all software on the network & see what computers has it installed.
And if possible to be able to uninstall unwanted software.
We presently use another product for Asset Mgt. that supplies software product keys. If a machine has to have a full re-install (hard drive failure), we use those software product keys to accomplish this without having to go to a lot of trouble. From the standpoint of License Mgt., we are able to export the software keys into Excel so that we can check ourselves on license compliance as well as to make decision on which ...more »
This would be a great feature. With so many people using laptops, tablets, and phones away from the office there is a big security risk. If a laptop was stolen or in the hands of a disgruntled employee, to be able to wipe the hard drive or at the very least be able to lock it down would be awesome.
We need to ability to add Asset Tag, Assigned User, Location and Department to an asset. It would also be nice to have a couple custom fields.
Auto reboot is enabled in the policy. If the user is absent for 30 minutes and the scheduled install with reboot is during this time, the 2 minutes reboot warning is too short. It is a forced reboot. Applications with unsaved documents are forced to quit and the work is lost. Please make this timer configurable. Please provide the option to choose between forced reboot and normal reboot (interuptable by applications) ...more »
It is very helpful to see what user is currently logged into each workstation. This was a nice feature that GFI Max had, and we miss it in the cloud. This helps the support process when a user calls for support you can search for their name in the dashboard and quickly take control of their computer.
The default view in the Patch Management module should be Missing patches instead of Installed and missing patches. Most would agree that when they go in patch management they are looking for missing patches so the first screen should show only missing.
