I notice that the DSC hacker check is able to report on the number of attempts that have occurred over the past 24 hours. However, it would be nice that the hacker check would show a summary of what user name(s) caused the authentication or login failure and associate that account with the number of attempted failures Also, it would be nice to see what time the failures have occured during the day. This would be ...more »
We need a way to apply a template to a workstation AFTER install time. I have over 100 workstations, with different states of services and checks. I don't want to manually delete all the checks, and then add them back one at a time. I would like to take the current install template and just 'push' it to a current workstation. This happens often because the installation template can get applied to a PC at different ...more »
currently if i want to change the 24x7 frequency check interval or DSC run time for multiple devices, i have click on each individual workstation or server and make the modification manually. this is ideal for working on on few devices at a time, but currently i have a need to change over 190 workstations 24x7 frequency intervals, but find the manual method will take too long. there should be a global or group option ...more »
If I want to delete fx. all performance check from one servers, I have to do it one by one from the dashboard.
It would be nice to be able to delete multible checks on one device in one operation
Please support: Veeam Backup & Replication
It would be very helpful to know how fragmented a disk is just in case the scheduled defrag isn’t running correctly.
in addition to the daily safety check, it would be nice to see the complete backup results of a job, even if the job completed successfully, rather than just see complete.
likewise if the job had failed or is incomplete, it would be nice to see the results of the job, such as why the job failed or is incomplete, such as no media available, or specific users files are open
Currently we are restricted to the Event Logs displayed in the check setup. This does not include any Event Log in Applications and Services - Microsoft. MS places more and more logs in their own sub folder in this folder. e.g. Windows Defender - It would be useful to have an option to check for a source in any Event Log. This might use a lot more resource and take longer but a warning to that effect might suffice. ...more »
It would be great to have a Daily Automated Mail Server Blacklist Check, something like that offered for free on www.mxtoolbox.com
The check would verify that the Mail Servers (i.e. Microsoft Exchange) Public IP address is not listed on any of the 104 known blacklists, if it is listed then it could raise an alert on the Dashboard.
On the disk space check extra details show a graph of usage going back at least a month, preferably a year, although only a few data points would be needed for a year.
There is a known issue with Kerberos and WIndows Server 2008 R2/Windows 7 and Server 2003 domain controllers: http://blogs.technet.com/b/instan/archive/2009/10/12/changes-in-default-encryption-type-for-kerberos-pre-authentication-on-vista-and-windows-7-clients-cause-security-audit-events-675-and-680-on-windows-server-2003-dc-s.aspx This trips the hacker alerts on the domain controllers, and the only options are to either ...more »
If a device was offline for an extended time the daily check should not start immediately, but rather after about 15 minutes. Otherwise it can happen that, for example AV Pattern Checks fail , although the AV software just downloads the latest updates.
