Max NEEDS to be able to manually install the MAV client. It makes me uncomfortable leaving clients unprotected, and feel that an install now button would be really helpful
In policy it would be nice if you could allow end user to delete files in Quarantine.
If you would not allow this, buttoms on end users GUI should not contain
’Delete from Computer’ , "’Restore" from Qurantine"’ and "Select all" if they do not work
May I suggest that we have an option to manually update our MAV clients? I have a new client that is MAV only, so every day when the included MAV Update check (DSC) comes in, it says it's out of date by at least one day. It's rather annoying to have to re-run a DSC on each workstation every time the screen shows the check failed. All major AV products can be (temporalily) disabled when installing software on the client. Why not with MAV ? I understand this ability was there in Vipre but was taken out for some reason. This ability is necessary when installing software that includes (legit) communication modules that an AV client will see as harmful. Bidefender slows down our customers' systems! Since we changed the MAV engine from Vipre to Bitdefender our customers complain about an obvious slowdown of their systems.
When replacing a Competitive Antivirus and replacing it with MAV, it leaves behind some old AV check.
It add new checks connected to MAV,
it would be nice if checks releated with the "old" and removed AV, was removed automatic at the same time.
I'm resubmitting this after I talked to support. They tell me that BitDefender is set to use maximum CPU usage during scans in order to keep the scans short. This is fine, but that sucks up battery, generates heat, and slows the computer down. It would be better to have an option to run scans at lowest priority and cap the amount of CPU usage for those of us who don't want the scan to take top priority. Support suggested ...more »

We should be able to allow users to temporarily disable Bitdefender. I had two users that needed their antivirus software disabled in order to install their software. The customer was perturbed because it impacted their day waiting for me to get to the console and disable their software. And, then they had to contact me again to re-enable it.
I would like the option to schedule an automatic monthly report that can be emailed out to my MAV clients that shows what has been quarantined/deleted.
The current report that can be manually generated is very useful, but an option to send it out automatically would make this scalable at a much larger level.
wouldn't it be great to be able to transfer exceptions from one policy to another? That way you wouldn't have to enter every exception inside every policy, but could transfer them.
