We really need to be able to auto approve patches for a particular vendor or product. For instance, auto approve all patches for Adobe products or auto approve all Java patches. Right now we can only choose to auto approve ALL non-microsoft patches that fall into a specific severity (critical, important, etc).
With all of the new tablets coming out, and android becoming so popular, I would like to see a "Take Control" function that works seamlessly on an Android system. I personally have an android tablet and think this would b a huge boon to assisting while on the move.
Integration with GFI Max Mail....
Would like the ability to create projects for upgrades of systems and other such things. Within the project we would be able to create custom tasks and sub-tasks and enter time for each task and subtask as well as label certain tasks as milestones in the project. As it is right now, ServiceDesk only fills the needs for the MSP half of our business. The other half of our business is implementing Infrastructure installations ...more »
It'd be very nice if there was a Mac-compatible site installer and remote worker installer package as there is for Windows.
With 100s of workstations to add to GFI MAX, it's a real difficulty to require us to go from machine to machine registering each with the site.
I can already deploy the installer over Remote Desktop, but can't automate the registration.
Currently, when installing the agent max will automatically add the Windows Defender antivirus checks.
These checks should not be added when the agent is also configured to deploy MAV. When MAV is deployed, Windows disables Sefender and we are left with the failing checks that have to be deleted manually.
Would like for the end-user have ability to request a whitelist or whitelist a blocked website themselves. This can be done by clicking on a "Proceed Anyway" button, submitting a built-in whitelist request form, or bypass by entering their dashboard credentials. A check box could be available indicating "I understand this website was being blocked for my protection and wish to proceed anyway."
It would be nice to be able to scan all registered WMI-counters/-instances instead of only the performance monitoring ones. If for instance an SQL-server needs to be monitored on the SQL-information and not the CPU/MEM alone, we can't use this performance monitoring check for this.
In short, can WMI-monitoring be extended to a much higher level?
There must be a report like the IASO report for the clients who only use MOB. The default daily/weekly report does not contain the preferred information. So, the MOB client must be able to set the email address of the end user and sent a report like we know from IASO backup. This is a must to sell this product to customers.
I expect GFI MAX to be extensively used for the provision of Managed Services. Hence, I believe It is rather important to embed Unicode support in the future release of the dashboard.
During troubleshooting with my clients, the "Performance monitoring", "View Report", Bandwidth and Performance page doesn't give the ability to save, print or anything. I have tried to print using the browser print option, but it cuts off the page charts. I have also tried to print it to an adobe printer to save as a file for review and it does the same. This needs to be re-organized so it can be printed or saved to ...more »
