I notice that the DSC hacker check is able to report on the number of attempts that have occurred over the past 24 hours. However, it would be nice that the hacker check would show a summary of what user name(s) caused the authentication or login failure and associate that account with the number of attempted failures Also, it would be nice to see what time the failures have occured during the day. This would be ...more »
currently if i want to change the 24x7 frequency check interval or DSC run time for multiple devices, i have click on each individual workstation or server and make the modification manually. this is ideal for working on on few devices at a time, but currently i have a need to change over 190 workstations 24x7 frequency intervals, but find the manual method will take too long. there should be a global or group option ...more »
What I think would be a great monitoring feature in GFI MAX RM is for a way to monitor email flow for my customers. Not just to monitor whether services are running or servers and internet up but actually confirm that emails are flowing in and out correctly. I have had a client recently asking if we can provide this service using GFI Max RM. I understand that a script may be the way to do it but do not know the best ...more »

I would like to be able to create a monitoring template which houses all the checks that I am selling per my IT bundles. We have Bronze / Silver / Gold etc....
As we work with Service template it's not possible (or an option) to set an individueel threshold on a single device. Instead we need to create a new template just to vary one threshold. It would be very helpfull to be able to set a threshold and use an option "non override" for example on a single device which can't be overridden by the daily service template update. At the moment we have a lot of false positives because ...more »
In my case the Exchange services were running but the store dismounted and I was not notified. To me this is a monitoring must for Exchange servers.
I would like to be able to monitor Hyper-V guest servers like it is possible to monitor VMware guest servers. At the moment on Hyper V you have to install an agent on to each guest VM which costs per VM and then it would only work like monitoring a physical server. Being able to get an inventory showing all guest VMs on a server including resources used and whether the VM is powered on would be really useful. The website ...more »
Would be nice to have the ability to clone the Monitoring Templates. Saves a bit of time when setting up multiple templates with similar checks.
i have a need to delete multiple devices such workstations and servers due to clients removing, replacing, and reimaging devices without telling me. currently the only way to delete devices is to individually select each one by one. however i find this method not efficient. i would like to see an option to select muliple devices for deletion. basically a select all and a single click delete button for those devices. ...more »
would be nice to have a web based link to deploy (pre or non configured) agents to a remote computer or server. instead of having to login to my dashboard remotely on the device, then download the agent to the selected device, or centrally on a server network share, then attempt to install it. by only providing the link, you could just download the agent specific to your client and site, without having also to show ...more »
Currently my inbox floods with alerts that are meaningless (yes I can turn them off but it can be useful). What GFI should do is auto baseline the stats much like PRTG. I would like to see an alert like this instead: CPU Threshold on ClientX is higher than normal for the day. Average CPU for this time is usually: 12% Currently: 89% This would cut down on all the junk spikes and such that do not tell a complete story. ...more »
