It would be great if there were more flexible options for remote control within GFI Max. It would be really helpful to have the Team Viewer Host passwords for the client workstations. We often have customers who need a remote control software for their own use. Team Viewer Host is already installed on their machines but we can't use it because the passwords are encrypted. GFI has always been about branding by the MSP, but even though GFI owns TeamViewer, and a lot of us have paid for branding on the portal, TeamViewer remains unbranded.
Please allow branding of TeamViewer.
It would be nice to utilize the Teamviewer Custom Quick Support for customers that are remote. This could replace remote support.
Team Viewer or Max needs to have some way of telling the the support tech whether the user is actively using the Workstation before we remotely connect. When remotely in a computer and need to reboot it a reconnect when available window pops up (teamviewer). If you hit the reconnect and the computer comes back online it says the password is incorrect and wont connect again. This works if you are using teamviewer without the dashboard.
it would be nice if you could enter an additional password for the take control host in the Dashboard (settings for take control).
So the Agent would be directly available with the second password for other supportes which are using teamviewer.
In addition it would be good if you could see the currentyl addressed Teamviewer ID in the Summary.
Integrate with the registered version of Teamviewer, so that my custom agent with my logo is used instead. This way security updates and other features are available faster and I have full Ipad functionality now, instead of later.
Upgrade Take Control / Team Viewer to version 8, typically the older versions flag up on vulnerability scans and it would be great if GFI could maintain that Team Viewer is kept up to date via the regular agent roll releases.
At the moment, if you set a local password on the customized teamviewer installed by the gfi agent when you have take control enabled and want to use this to give access to someone they can only use it for 5 minutes. If Take Control is enabled, then a Windows service check for the appropriate version of Teamviewer should be automatically added.
If the agent is upgraded and it includes an upgrade to Teamviewer, then the check should automatically be changed to reflect the appropriate service for that version of Teamviewer.
