Allow Dashboard users to change their own passwords

Currently the only way to change a user's password for the Dashboard is for a superuser to change it, thus meaning that the superuser has to know the user's password. It would be good if we could give users access to change their own password without giving them access to change other user account properties.

Show if user is inactive

It would be useful to know when a user is active on a machine. When we need to carry out actions on a client machine, it's good to know if someone is actively using it before taking control. For example, if there's been no user activity during a check interval, then show the machine as inactive e.g. change the online status icon to say amber.

Give Remote Access status before remoting into customers desktop

Team Viewer or Max needs to have some way of telling the the support tech whether the user is actively using the Workstation before we remotely connect. For example LogMeIn Pro before remote connection gives the tech the information "The host computer keyboard and mouse have been inactive for 1 days" Can this be accomplished in Teamviewer or GFI so the technician knows whether they are taking over a machine in use or ...more »

Remove Top and Bottom Banner

I'm finding that the graphical banners take quite a bit of screen real estate without providing any added value. It would make sense to make the ...more »

Web Protection Policy based on user

It would be much more effective if we could assign web protection policies based on username instead of machine. This way we can set different levels of filtering websites based on user job description and or role. It would make for much better reporting as well, we would be able to identify heavy offenders and activity.

Add client 'Site Administrator' email address(es) for notifying

It could be useful to be able to define one (or more) client Site Administrator email address(es) along with a function to be able to send an email to those addresses. This could be used to notify a responsible person at any site of upcoming activities e.g. all machines to be rebooted, leave machines on tonight, etc.

This would be separate and distinct from the addresses that receive client reports.

Quick Ticket Creation/Closing for Remote Support Techs

The ticketing system in ServiceDesk is fairly straightforward, but it lacks a crucial feature for our remote support techs: the ability to start, add time to, and close a ticket from one screen. As it stands, techs have to go through a pretty lengthy form just to start the ticket, before they can begin entering notes on what they did to resolve the issue. This is necessary because sometimes we have back-to-back calls, ...more »
