The idea to snooze an alert for a certain period of time is great, but it would also be good to have a comments field that could be used to say why the alert was snoozed.
I guess the notes field could be used, but think it would be better if there was something else inbuilt.
Does anyone else think it would be a smarter idea that a double click expanded the client to show sites in the 'client tree' part of the dashboard?
Once expanded a further double click could open up the properties of the client or site.
The ability to have the agent automatically deleted in the dashboard when a computer has the same name is great, but all the information (notes/custom asset details) is lost.
Can this please be reconfigured so that it retains the information, rather than deleting it all.
When deleting checks it asks you to enter in your password. That is fine (still frustrating but that's not the point of this idea) but then you can't simply press 'Enter' on the keyboard to confirm the dialogue box.
You have to either press 'Tab' and then Enter, or move the mouse to OK.
Would be much easier if we had the ability to press Enter after typing in the password.
a simple back button would be nice....
When a computer gets deleted from the dashboard, whether it gets accidentally uninstalled or purposely deleted, all of the custom notes, and asset tracking fields get deleted as well. If this is just for a simple reinstall, one would have to take screen shots of the notes beforehand. It would be good if either computers appeared as orphaned machines for a certain amount of time, or a summary email got sent that ...more »
I need the ability to set different time zones for different sites under the one company. Currently it can only be set at the company level.
By doing this it will allow better control of when MAV, Patch Man etc gets run. Currently i have no idea when it will run on sites other than the one in the correct time zone.
It would be good if clients could log onto their dashboard and initiate MAV scans..
Currently if a 24/7 check is cleared, and the issue does not go away, there is no way to manually unclear that check and make the check appear as red again, it will always appear as orange.
Please make it so if a 24/7 check is cleared, that it can be manually uncleared in the event that the check never passes again.
It would be good if MAV would default to the internet much like patch management when the Site Concentrator is not contactable.
Sometimes my clients don't shut their machine down properly and this causes the "Last Response" collumn to be high lighted yellow in the event there is an alarm on that particular workstation, such as MAV Update Check.
It should not be like this. If a workstation goes offline generally its nothing to worry about, so we don't need to know if there is an alarm active or not.
Hopefully that makes sense.
The ability to add tsgateway details to rdp connections is a must. A lot of sites have their rdp port closed so a separate file outside of gfi needs to be maintained.
