Specifically XCP-NG version of Xenserver.
Would love to be able to install n-central server onto my xenserver.
I believe Carbonite has this.
Give the user the ability to right click on a file in a folder (ie their desktop) and it give them a choice of what version of the file they can restore, and when they click on it, it restores it.
I want to be able to grab files from any system backed up to the cloud and be able to move them to any other system. Please make this a possibility. This should be a basic thing for simple file backup and recovery. If you could make this a thing for hyper-v and xenservers, that would be cool too.
If you forget your encryption key (or if a malicious employee decides to go off the rails) you're customers backups are worthless.
Allow the MSP business owner a master restore password that only they would know that could override all other backup passwords.
Give us the option to have one global password for all, or one for each client. (I personally would prefer one global for all)
Kaseya's live connect is freaking sweet. When you "live connect" to a customer, it brings up a dashboard that shows in real-time cpu, memory usage, a mini screen of their actual screen (without you being able to interact), also the cursor doesn't blink from this. It also shows other most important information right at a glance, as well as gives you 5 script actions you can take. I wish MSP Anywhere had this option to ...more »
With the amount of ideas stockpiling in this system between n-able and RMM, it looks to me like development has come to an almost complete stop.
Tell the execs and owners to take a pay cut and hire about 30 more developers.
Ubuntu v18 needs support via n-able AND MSP anywhere.
Mac's need more checks/patch management. Other RMM's already have this. Some even have AV on Macs.
We need Linux support! Linux is gaining market share and we need to support our clients who use Ubuntu! Especially Ubuntu v18!
The status of backing up or restoring makes absolutely no sense AT ALL. Is it done backing up to the LSV? The Stand by Image? The cloud? Why does the "finish line" keep moving! When the big bar shows 80% done and a total of 1TB of backup, and I come back 30min later and it says 50% done and a total of 1.8TB of backup. Talk about frustrating! Oh and when restoring, tell me where it is restoring from! I literally just ...more »
Make the overview window for devices to be customizable as to what information we want to see. We also need to be able to see more information in general! ideas: 1) All product licenses in a "grouping" of it's own. 2) All IP addresses, local, and public, including subnet/bitcount, dns, and gateway(s) 3) Average ping response time to whatever is keeping constant communication with the system from n-able. 4) List of patches ...more »
This is more of a bug of things I've noticed the last 30 days. 1) Last response and last boot times are very rarely ever correct. Fix it. 2) Please report when computers come back online properly. I have seen every computer I work on does not report this correctly. 3) Managed AV is hogging CPU on random computers. I have had to remove the product completely from certain users computers, and it's very frustrating, especially ...more »
Take control - failed Anti virus - failed Often I call your support line and they tell me to edit the .ini file to change the xxxfailed=3 to 0 and try again. So why not add an option in the right click menu of the dashboard to "reset failed counts" This is especially handy for people who can't get take control to work, but can use remote command line to fix the issue. Especially since there is no remote file manager ...more »
