I submitted Idea 644 re the Take Control. This idea was never approved. What is the deal?
I don't know who to talk with so I am submitting it through this.
After updating a new agents to Agent version 10.5.0, it replaced the Teamviewer flavor of Take Control with a new remote support program by MSPAnywhere.com. I would warn people to keep their agents at 10.4.3 version until Logicnow fixes this issue. Since the previous update to the dashboard, the MOB "show password" under the Edit Workstation window does not function. You click on it but doesn't work which means it does not show the password. When I click the "show password" button to reveal the GUI password in MOB nothing happens. I'm logged in as the Master User and have tried to "show password" on multiple machines, but haven't had any luck. I have escalated ...more »
Based upon the update on 05/26/2016 with new dashboard icons , this update removed all the colors and whitewashed all the icons. Here are more details on this update: http://tinyurl.com/zjl8xwy The LogicNow RMM is a tool day-in an day-out. We need the alerts to be vibrant and easy to use and see. There is a problem with setting a file size check. We are trying to monitor a 3.28 GB file. We set the file check to alert if larger than 3.4 GB. This was causing the check to fail even though the check was reporting back it found the file to be 3.28 GB. This issue was confirmed by LogicNow tech support per case # 00291079. It appears my customers hard drive was failing and began to manipulate files. As there were bad sectors and/or corruption on the drive, files began to 'change'. The Max Backup software saw these files as 'new' or updated files and backed them up. These were zero byte files. When installing an agent without an installation template (set to OFF), the agent will auto-discover all the checks on the installed machine. If installing an agent with an installation template of "asset tracking only", the program does not add any checks.
