We are a data driven company as are many MSP providers out there are. Margins are generally small on contracts and efficiency is the key to success and profits. Currently reporting and exporting of data within MSP Manager is lacking badly and we have a hard time getting the data we need to provide customer facing reporting that meshes with our RMM and other solutions. I would like to see an open API, export options, ...more »
The addition of the noreplay@ AKA noreply@ email address should be optional since the fix states it was added to fix a mail loop issue when notifications were sent to other ticket systems. Which in the case I have seen this deployed solution can't fix the loop issue as all but a few notification types still send as the configured address. If the email loop was was caused by any of the other notification types this would ...more »
Users do not have the access to edit their own passwords or profiles if not given the User Management > Users = Manage permission.
I would like to see all users to have the right to edit their own user profiles while still set to User Management = None.
Displaying the Windows Service or TCP port service, there are several others as well, on a dashboard is currently a fruitless gesture since it displays every service or port monitored on that device and not just the services that are associated with that Dashboard. | Example: I want to have an SMTP dashboard and want to show only the SMTP port (yes not the best example since it is its own service) and the Simple Mail ...more »
When new license are added to N-Central they auto set to the max limit on every customer. If we buy licenses for a specific product for a specific client it assigns them to everyone and we have to go in and edit them for every client. I just want options to choose auto assignment and also some options to do mass editing of the limits. Like select a set of customers and say 0 for a product. Or set them all to 5... Let ...more »
Currently you lose information either Virtualization credentials or SNMP settings when you switch probes.
The new Windows Applications and Services Logs service was added to replace the Event log service but you can't create tickets via PSA integration with it since it doesn't have the same duplication suppression options as the old Event Log service.
We would like to have the ability to enable both VMWare and SNMP monitoring by rule.
We use quite a few SUSE and Cent OS as servers and would love a generic Linux agent we can install on any platform.
Basic functionality is all we ask for... CPU, Memory, and Disk monitoring.
We would like this as I want to know the granular changes made to built in services and service templates and rules. We have had this burn me in the past where a built in service template was updated and it replaced out custom thresholds and we missed some very important notifications no change was mentioned in the release notes. For this reason we no longer used the built in service templates, we clone them and only ...more »
Nothing is more annoying when deploying a new service or threshold change and having to do it in different places to reach all the server classes.
I think the best way to do this is to allow for a multiple class selections on service templates so we can make them available as we see fit. Making all service templates available for all classes would creates a mess in sorting when applying them.
Allow Probe Status be added to notification by Rules
Currently we have to manually adding every probe to the notification for it to work
Allow Probe Status to be added to dashboards for quick overview of status.
