The current Veeam Job Monitor service is not able to monitor Veeam Windows Agent Backup jobs.
I have created a custom service that does this for me in the meantime , but it would be great if it was added to the existing Veeam Job Monitor service.
Allow custom SNMP services to use regex. This would allow me to automatically add all oids that contain for example the word "WAN", instead of having to choose from a drop-down list or manually enter it.
Allow SSL as an option for an SMTP relay. At the moment the configuration options for an email relay in N-Central are very limited.
N-Central adds any disk that it is able to detect, however as the service uses the logical name it does not account for the fact that it may be as USB drive. Ideally there should be an option to exclude USB drives - yet still have them visible and filtered by the asset info.
Add the ability to add a comment when placing a device in downtime as well as the name of the N-Central user that placed the device in downtime. This could also then be added to the PSA solution when a ticket is updated.
Currently it is not possible to use only 3rd party patch management. I have a number of clients that want to continue using WSUS, but still want 3rd party patching.
Are there any plans to have 3rd party patch management operate independently?
We use Autotask as our PSA solution. If we have an Internet outage, or Autotask has issues/maintenance on their side, ticket creation will fail. Can we have a check in N-Central that will re-attempt to create the ticket in the event of a failure? It is very cumbersome to manually go through devices that haven't had a ticket created.
I have a probe with a public IP address that I use to monitor clients Internet facing equipment. Most of this equipment have dynamic IP addresses so currently it means manually creating a new discovery job each time.
I would like to see an audit trail for any action performed by an N-Central user. There have been cases in the past where a device was placed in downtime, a threshold adjusted or a device deleted and we needed to know when and which user performed the action.
I would like to set the default view for devices on a user level.
Ie. if I click on a device, by default I would like to see the monitoring tab.
Also, the overview tab is very cluttered - the option to resize or disable specific sections is necessary.
It's quite cumbersome searching for a specific filter, rules and templates. It would be great if there was a global search bar or something similar that would search on filters, rules, templates and services and then show the results and where each item is located.
