Can functionality be added to allow login to N-Central via the AuthAnvil SSO capability?
Currently, the only way that the Patch Status service can know about 3rd party application versions is via the nable.sis.com server. Until a patch update exists there then there is no way to report the newer application version if it is installed on the device. However, when a user goes to (N-Central > Device > Tools > Applications) the most up-to-date versions of applications installed on that machine are present. Make ...more »
Allow the backup/export of N-Central Probe Discovery jobs.
Document where in WMI N-Central pulls the Asset Information from.
Allow service templates to be applied as part of an automation process (AMP, PS, etc).
This was asked in ticket # 00991359 but the gist of the idea is:
Allow the capability to kill a running task, however, and where-ever it was generated from.
I would like the ability to be able to choose when service templates are re-applied globally whether currently existing customized settings are overwritten. Currently, all customized settings are overwritten but this doesn't help when I am trying to standardize monitoring across all devices and have to re-apply templates to catch those devices which don't have them currently installed.
I would love to be able to restrict what types of remote access connections are available for a given SO, client, device, etc.
Allow the capability (AMP policy(?)) to script the clearing of all manually entered device level maintenance windows (IE, those windows NOT DEFINED BY A RULE).
Allow the capability for user access groups to use device classes or filters as the method by which to target which parts of N-Central machines a user has access to.
Allow the default connection type for certain device classes to be restricted/set to ONLY one type with the typical non-root user being unable to change it.
In the All Devices view of a customer, allow individual machines to be selected and a task to be run which re-installs the agent. This functionality would be exactly the same as you would find if you went into an individual machine > Settings > Local Agent > Reinstall Local Agent.
This way I could run this command on multiple machines at once instead of having to go into each one individually.
