On asset discovery, capture the make of the hard drive (western digital, Seagate, etc) and the ability to filter on the manufacturer and the drive model number.
and within report manager export this data so it shows up as well.
Built-in filtering like out agent's installed or av installed, we have a filter to single out AWS (Amazon cloud) devices and Azure (Microsoft Cloud) devices.
in the case of AWS, we pull asset data from the device and the network adapter is listed as aws pv network device - if you could filter on that or some other identifier to be able to filter on AWS or Azure systems.
The issue is there are patches either from Microsoft or 3rd party that for one reason or another will not be auto approved and needs to be manually approved.
Requesting an option in patch management to list all these patches so they can be tagged for approval - not listing mixed approval - listing only no approvals.
The idea is to have an option to show the SN and or model number to be able to quickly find duplicates asset entries in n-central.
example, client has a laptop and goes to 5 different customers - the laptop is discovered and registered at each customer.
to quickly identify this - if the SN was a field in the dashboard and you can sort by it, you should be able to quickly see your duplicate entry.
for Report manager Last Boot up Time and logged in user by device report, the ability to run the report for all customers instead of having to run the report for each customer.
In the example pic, there are 2 customers.
I would like the ability to select all instead of doing multiple runs.
A client has backup/media agents setup on Windows servers and windows workstations and would like the windows workstations to have the unscheduled downtime turned off when one of these Backup/media agents are discovered under a filter associated to a rule. Currently there is no way to set this under a rule or a service template, it's set by device class. The reason is if the Backup/media agent goes down, backups won't ...more »
Having an option to mass add the same probe to multiple objects with only one dropdown or a assign this probe to all vs a dropdown for each device when you tag multiple devices and select assign probe.
When using MSP Connect to connect to a MacOS system, the System Shell runs as root.
Would like to see an option to either run the system shell as root or to Log on as another user.
this is to be able to run commands that require to run as a specific user like filevault.
sudo fdesetup removerecovery -personal
will not run because root is not a registered user in filevault by default.
