The Idea is to be able to look at a customer's environment and show all scheduled tasks ran against it with start time, end time and if it's successful. -example run a report on a client site to look at scheduled tasks - did the clear disk space amp run/on which machines and was it successful.
the idea is to have a mechanism to update the fields in asset configuration that you normally would update manually - like cost, lease expiry, location, asset tag if a partner onboards a new customer and they get all the device details from the admin for the devices - the partner should be able to add this data directly to all the device once discovered. also if new devices come in or they change location - to be able ...more »
When running the AV Defender status, would like to see the signature version the device has to confirm the signatures are current.
currently, the report does not mentioned the signature version, just the AV Version.
When the partner's SSL certificate is up for renewal, some partners instead of downloading or copying the CSR from the text box will Fill in the certificate details and click on Generate - this will require to re-key your SSL which in the case of some Certificate vendors may take 48 hours to validate before giving you a new ssl. What I propose is check on when the CSR was first generated and have a Dialog box indicate ...more »
The idea is since there are known issues such as legacy adapters that a known to cause performance problems when connecting that is fixed by disabling hardware acceleration in msp connect. why not set the setting in a rule to disable hardware accelleration for msp connect or enable peer to peer or limit image capture. then with a filter like Hardware > Video Adapter Name > Contains > matrox you can easily make to correct ...more »
On asset discovery, capture the make of the hard drive (western digital, Seagate, etc) and the ability to filter on the manufacturer and the drive model number.
and within report manager export this data so it shows up as well.
Built-in filtering like out agent's installed or av installed, we have a filter to single out AWS (Amazon cloud) devices and Azure (Microsoft Cloud) devices.
in the case of AWS, we pull asset data from the device and the network adapter is listed as aws pv network device - if you could filter on that or some other identifier to be able to filter on AWS or Azure systems.
The issue is there are patches either from Microsoft or 3rd party that for one reason or another will not be auto approved and needs to be manually approved.
Requesting an option in patch management to list all these patches so they can be tagged for approval - not listing mixed approval - listing only no approvals.
The idea is to have an option to show the SN and or model number to be able to quickly find duplicates asset entries in n-central.
example, client has a laptop and goes to 5 different customers - the laptop is discovered and registered at each customer.
to quickly identify this - if the SN was a field in the dashboard and you can sort by it, you should be able to quickly see your duplicate entry.
for Report manager Last Boot up Time and logged in user by device report, the ability to run the report for all customers instead of having to run the report for each customer.
In the example pic, there are 2 customers.
I would like the ability to select all instead of doing multiple runs.
A client has backup/media agents setup on Windows servers and windows workstations and would like the windows workstations to have the unscheduled downtime turned off when one of these Backup/media agents are discovered under a filter associated to a rule. Currently there is no way to set this under a rule or a service template, it's set by device class. The reason is if the Backup/media agent goes down, backups won't ...more »
Having an option to mass add the same probe to multiple objects with only one dropdown or a assign this probe to all vs a dropdown for each device when you tag multiple devices and select assign probe.
