Another useful feature for us to have would be the ability to send a downtime request via the API, accepting either a CustomerID to put all devices into downtime, or the DeviceID for a single device, for a given number of minutes from the moment the request is sent.
This doesn't seem to exist, can we have this added to the Notification Templates?
If I could get the thresholds that have been defined for a service, and it's limits, I would be able to create a process/form for our engineers to request threshold changes via Cherwell and ensure they are seeing the current values and are entering the correct expected values.
On the Device>Monitoring tab, I would like to see a drop down, that allows you to select multiple services and choose whether they are monitored by Local Agent or the Probe, similar to how to transfer tasks on probes. As we monitor all Windows Services that are automatic, and consider important, I assign a template for 'Windows service name = * , and them apply another template to remove those not needed. I would like to be able to configure a services threshold to alert off a given list of values instead of having to fall between a range of values. An example would be for APC UPS's, the upsBasicOutputStatus uses values between 1-22, yet I would prefer they only alert when it returns a 1, 3 or 10 as recommended by APC.
