Backup profiles allow an option for the Backup Selection to be configured manually with the profile still in place. Can this be extended to allow the backup start time to be configured locally too?
Backup profiles allow for a backup to take place every hour for Files and Folders; however, for other backup sources such as System State or MS SQL, the highest frequency is 6 hours. Can higher frequencies be made available for these data sources?
Raised on behalf of BIOS Middle East: Backup profiles don't currently allow for the selection of days of the week to run the backup; as a result, there's no intuitive way to exclude certain days of the week as per customer preference (for example, weekends). While there's a known workaround which involves creating a "work week" of the whole of Saturday and Sunday, this is counter-intuitive, and can also only be used ...more »

Devices which were backed up using the MBR partition table can only run on UEFI-compatible restore firmware when it's launched in the legacy BIOS compatibility mode. Is there scope to manage a conversion to UEFI as part of the Bare Metal Recovery process?
Prior to version 18.6, the Backup Manager supported LAN connections to port 5000 on other devices to view that device's Backup Manager, provided that the device's Backup credentials were entered. Since 18.6, users are still challenged for credentials despite the fact that, even if they enter the correct credentials, the user is then told they can no longer connect for security purposes. Removing this challenge altogether ...more »
Raised on behalf of PerCom Automatisering Bv: When restoring to a different location, the ability to restore files/folders without the full (from root) folder path would be a significant quality of life improvement. For example, a restore of three different folders from three different locations on the source drive will require additional navigation through the restored folder tree, with the way things currently are. ...more »

When transferring a domain to another admin, an optional drop-down list containing the sub-admins of the currently-logged-in user would be helpful, as this prevents the need to remember the exact name given to the intended recipient admin account; otherwise, it can't be checked at that point without leaving the screen.
Raised on behalf of Awaken IT. A button or link to https://usagereport.swmailassure.com/ from the Mail Assure dashboard has been suggested as a Quality of Life improvement for users. It would allow quick and convenient access to the site to allow MSPs to more-easily manage billing for their clients. Additionally, more real-time billing information (e.g. number of billed mailboxes for that month/period so far) could ...more »

Some users would prefer an option to enable the sending of blank E-mail Scout Reports as confirmation that no spam has been quarantined for them for a particular day - a checkbox under Domain Settings would be convenient.
Currently, when a new user is created within backup.management, the welcome e-mail that user receives is in English, and that can't be customised.
Is there scope to include an option to select the language for the welcome e-mail, that can be designated at the time the new user is created?
In some cases, an MSP may seize an opportunity to upgrade a client's hardware when completing a Bare Metal Recovery using SolarWinds Backup. In an example scenario, they may upgrade a client to a Solid State Hard Drive (SSD) from a Hard Disk Drive (HDD). Typically, SSDs come in smaller sizes than HDDs; this presents an issue when conducting a Bare Metal Recovery, as the existing requirement is that the target disk size ...more »

Currently, only Superusers can edit the "TicketNr" custom column (and, therefore, other custom columns) on the Backup and Recovery Console.
Can the Operator user be amended to include this or, more broadly, can options be added to implement custom user permissions?
