The connectivity service should not be automatically applied to sites that do not have a probe. The service is generally added by a Service template, but if the site does not have a probe, the connectivity service should not be automatically added as it most likely will fail without a probe resulting in additional configuration work.
Devices network address in Device Details -> Settings -> Properties should dynamically update. Devices are often installed and configured on the MSP's network and then moved to the customer's network. The network address should dynamically update so the Connectivity service does not fail.
Currently we can only map sites in N-Central to the root account in Autotask. We should be able to map sites to Autotask locations.
Currently when configuring thresholds, you can only set CONSECUTIVE ranges of numbers for each status. For example, Normal is from 0 to 1, Warning is from 2 to 3, Failed is from 4-5.However some devices may have normal status of 1 and 3. Lack of flexibility in setting thresholds makes it more difficult to monitor some devices.
To provide more details in Notifications we'd like to see the Service Description field available as an option in the Notification templates.
Another reason we would like this to be put in alerts is so links to our Knowledge Base for specific services can be put in the field to provide a flow for techs to be able to resolve an issue.
Allow certain trusted or power users the option to temporarily disable AV Defender. This option is available in other AV products. This would allow power users to disable their AV without having to call their MSP every time.
We should be able to have our own logo instead of the Solarwinds logo in the agent and probe installers. There should be a way to customize the branding for the installer.
Would like to see the Pingid product by https://www.pingidentity.com integrated for 2 factor authentication when logging into N-Central.
The AV Status script does not currently support malware product Cisco AMP for Endpoints. Cisco AMP is sold as a replacement for "traditional" antivirus products, so it should be supported by the script so that Cisco AMP can be fully monitored by N-Central
