it's great that SW has provided the log pulling tool...but it still requires user intervention. Can that tool be run silently? it sure could help because then a file transfer could be done with "minimal" user intervention instead of completely taking over the user's machine.
It is clear as day every time that without debug logging enabled, pulling logs for integrated RMM backup clients is next to useless because they provide no info. SInce debug logging needs to be enabled to gain any knowledge of anything, why can't it be enabled by default?
Maybe it's just me....but I am finding years of old "updates" in the featureres folder...on some smaller SSD drives that could become an issue (I just looked at two machines and there are 500mb of old, not needed update files) Can't these be automatically removed somehow? and as a footnote i did have a case open...and it WAS submitted as a bug because the technician i was working with agreed this wasn't right....but ...more »
Can you guys PLEASE consider increasing the time frame before logs get over-written??? To have something happen on a Friday, send an email to support, and by the time it is responded to on Monday or Tuesday the logs are over written is RIDICULOUS. if you are monitoring a machine you don't have immediate access to on a consistent basis...this makes end of week support really difficult.
Since you guys blame so many things on the agent running under the local system acct and not a local admin acct, how about giving us an opportunity to deploy an agent with a custom user login or allowing us to change the login acct in some easier manner than changing it machine by machine...
Any chance of getting date and time stamps on critical event checks? Sometimes until you can actually get into the workstation or server's event logs, it's hard to tell if a critical error is a recurring event or the same one previously reported.
I have a few task items i can set up checks for, but i have to clear every day, and are only for reporting purposes only...i am wondering if there is an interest in being able to create an "information only" type of check that doesn't need to be cleared every day.
